Is it possible for someone to waste 1.8 million on an attack Buzzard?

What's better than searching for something? Being able to have one ready at a moment's notice.

What's better than a Merryweather pick up? An $800 cheaper call to a chopper with guns and rpgs.

What's better than a speeding Adder/XF for missions? A faster flying bubble that seats 4.

What's better than a Buzzard Attack Chopper? Getting an infinite amount of them for $200 if one is destroyed.

What's better with more utility? It certainly isn't your tank.

Vulnerable to all gunners since you're exposed, sitting in a bubble.

 

Still a good helicopter though. Think the Hunter would be tough as nails, I think it would take in lots of heavy sniper bullets & its engine wouldn't smoke up.

I was actually really lucky, I was saving up for it then about 2 days after I started a Rockstar Event started in which the Buzzard was 20% off so I got on GTA Online to start working for that small amount of money I thought I needed but when I checked how much I need my money was actually enough^^

Best investment in the game imo. Can do some missions solo without ever touching the ground. Also good in free roam as air to ground platform with a little teamwork and practice. Love my buzzard

Well first of all I bought my buzzard after a hacker gave me tons of money, even if I didn't have the money a buzzard is worthwhile, especially since they don't spawn nearly as often as they used to. I believe there was a patch not to long ago that change the way helicopters spawn so that there would be more variety.

Buzzard, Tank, and Cargobob are the best purchases one can make in the world of GTAO. ALL of them help greatly with missions. They add utility usage, and add flare to the mission gameplay that nothing else can.

Chopper spawns are randomized in free roam now so yes very necessary for gettin one on demand.

 

Choppers also don't spawn in missions. You have to call peg.

1 - Missions. They don't spawn during every mission and speed up everything. Plus, $200 for unlimited ammo.

 

2 - When I want a helicopter, I want it now. I want it at the heliport near my apartment. I dont want to cross the map over and over to save money on a vehicle that I consider necessary.

Besides, it's like any weapon - better to have a Buzzard and not need one than to need one and not have it.

Yep, only got to watch the missions where it's possible to destroy what your after. Done that a few times as Ryan will probably testify haha.

 

So to answer the thread. It's not possible to waste the money, but it is possible to spend it on a good quality tool for most jobs

Well, the key word here would be "waste" and what one's definition as such would be.

 

I ground my way through Survivals and races to earn enough to buy the cars I wanted and the apartment I liked.

 

When I reached the level to unlock the Buzzard, I bought it, too, and for me, it was perhaps the best purchase I've made in this game - where I want, when I want.

 

So, now, when I want a Buzzard, I call in, order it, and typically I'm in the vicinity, pre-planned, to pick it up.

 

Was this a "waste" to have this freedom? Not for me.

 

Was it a "waste" buying the gigantic Dump Truck? Now that I have to say, was a complete waste for me.

 

I regret that decision, every day, every night, breaking into cold sweats just thinking about it.

Depends on your current location.

 

It's usually either at the hospital, by the marina or at the airport if you are in LS. Generally the first two most of the times.

I found that to be infuriating, if you start a mission on the wrong part of the map you have no way to get your Buzzard other than to take an long drive. Meanwhile Tanks spawn all over the map when Pegasus is called.

Meaning you can get the safe cracked, exit the building and dive in the chopper, shoot the other one down and get to the finish point in next to no time..

 

If you really want to make it easier, you can even just hover the thing and take out incoming merryweather cars while the safe is being cracked... though I much prefer standing on the stairs behind the door they come in, combat shotgun ready.. carnage...

since it costs 200, all it does is ave time. If your after quick money your better off doing it on easy with pistol. All the buzzard does is speed up some missions

 

 

ahhh, so doesn't that mean you can do more missions in the time you have to play? therefore making more money? you also have less chance of failure so you're not wasting time repeating missions.
