I'd love to find animals in the swampy areas, n kill em. Skin them and sell for a measly profit.

Would like hunting. I'd want hunting rifles though, not armour piercing rounds.

MP already has hunting. Other players. I wouldn't mind animals in MP but I hate the mountain lions. It's was so annoying that they were certain death.

Seriously, hunting would be fun and wildlife makes the rural areas feel alive, unlike now. Besides, the noises are there, coyotes howl, hawks screech and I swear I have heard an alley cat before. I'm sure they are still there in MP to give ambient sounds and a feeling of life but they just make the absence of wildlife more glaring. And c'mon, how funny would it be to see player aircraft go down to a bird strike?

Haha that'd be awesome, assuming the engines have a huge clunk and start splattering.

Agree with the post, i've heard a dog outside the Sandy Shores hospital..sounds must just carry over from SP.

Its in a Thread i read a couple of Months ago..i cant remember all the details, it just left me with one of those WTF moments, they dont want to promote the killing of animals online.....But killing Civilians, Cops, Robbery Stealing......Is OK

Wow, saw the title on this one and was thinking peeps were having RDR withdrawal. While it was fun in RDR, don't think it really suits GTA all that much. Someone also mentioned fishing in another thread recently.

 

As for hunting and selling the furs etc, again... that's RDR. Back then there were plenty of places to sell furs as a tracker. These days? Not so much.

 

huhuhhuhu be vewy vewy quiet, we're huntin' nubs (must be done with Elmer Fud accent)

You can always hunt the most dangerous game of all...

Shame we couldn't keep the reindeer outfits. Dress up players as reindeers, release them in to the wild then hunt 'em down!

 

Now that would be fun

Maybe hunting is something that will be added further down the line. I can understand that it isnt in yet as R* probably want to differentiate single player from multiplayer for the first few months or so. Personally I think there is enough ingame to keep me entertained but GTAO will always be missing things that people want in the game.

maybe because there's no groups of activist nutjobs to protest the violence against 7/11 employees in videogames

Huntings in single player so any argument to why it's not in mp is invalid.

 

It's most likely the same reason there's only 16 player lobbies.

Darn, I miss going to tanners reach in RDR where all the mountain lions spawned. That would have been a cool thing to add, at least a place where you could fight it out haha.

Most likely they ran out of room on these consoles. Animals will probably be in Online if the PC/Next-gen versions are real (which they most likely are).

Well, there have been ''supposed'' sound leaks of cops calling in illegal hunting and endangered species plus the horse sounds...

 

I'm hoping we get more dangerous animals like Bears, Cougars, Wolf Packs, Aligators in the Zancudo swamps etc.

 

Maybe release a new Animal Survival mode where you're in the middle of a thick forest with vicious animals coming for you. Special human to animal fight mechanics so it isn't just 1-hitting each other. Maybe like the Uncharted 2 yeti encounter:
