I agree segregating the players is not the answer, but at the same time I sympathize with players who'd like to use the lobby to meet players to PvE with, wouldn't you agree it's extremely difficult for them the way it stands?

Players are more likely to group up with others who can help them. If a person improves their own skills, they can make friends through different scenarios such as coop missions or simply sending messages of good sportsmanship after a fight. "Dude, you're pretty good. We should team up." It's that simple. They are not going to add someone who's crying about getting killed, that's for sure, unless they are also crying.

The game was made to cooperate with each other. But you wouldn't know anything about that.

If that were the case, friendly fire would be off. You know, like during coop missions and gang attacks. Now just allow your whining fail thread to die.

But you people would be crying that you can't kill everyone.

If they turned FF off, it would give us more reason to play deathmatch... but that's not going to happen so it's pointless to think about. It is what it is. Deal with it.

No, I'm not dealing with your facist bs. Go have fun playing cod. it's what you turned GTA into.

This game is a TPS, more comparable to SOCOM and Rainbow Six than COD, but mostly like GTA4 and all GTA's made in the past, which have always been about theft and murder. I am not a developer, but I do appreciate what they have turned this title into. Perhaps it's time for you to find something else to play.

Or perhaps you pussies play games meant for killing?

Basically, anyone the OP can't shoot is a pussy... Amazing how I have no problem killing any of these players. If you want to play on foot, I suggest finding a deathmatch.

No, anyone who kills for no reason is a pussy.

Hahahahahaha. +1, not in agreement, but because I lol'd.

And I guess that you are one of the pussies who ruined online.

You said something similar to me before. It was an accusation of me hacking.

I'm already playing one. ;)

BTW, I don't think I could have been any more fair with you in my response. From experience, most of your statements over the internet would be laughed at and trolled into oblivion. I feel a little guilty for feeding you.

I'm always in invite only. Usually play 2 players with some guy from nearby country and I still use invite only when playing alone.

Because I'd rather play alone than meeting d*cks

Yes, I acknowledge there are ways to find people to play with, it's simply apparent to me it's far easier for PvP players to find each other then PvE players.

I mean to say, the more a player plays and interacts, eventually, with even a minimal endeavor, they should find people to play with they like. But, for those who don't have too much time to invest, then enter a public lobby looking for some PvE, which is implied with all the game modes and blue beacons scattered throughout the map, they are hard pressed to find players as the match making system is sorely lacking and, the general mayhem/chaos in the lobby is the opposite of their intended desire.

So, to dismiss those players telling them to f*ck off cry baby, go play another game is counter productive in my opinion. Every online multiplayer game needs new blood as players drop out over time. If it's established, this game will not embrace PvE, then a large percentage of the gaming population in my opinion are effectively disenfranchised. But, it's precisely those players, after having their PvE appetites saturated, would then likely switch to PvP which means, more players for that mode as well. More players, more fun.

Therefore, if a player desires to begin playing the game as a PvE player, then perhaps transition to a PvP player, this behavior should be encouraged rather then dismissed in my opinion. As it stands, PvP or GTFO is the word of the day, which may significantly contribute to the game's stagnation in my opinion.

Come on, dude. You play nce, but you sometimes gotta play dirty.

I may have killed peeps in shops, I may have "borrowed" a tank and spawnkilled peeps, I may use the invincibility glitch on a daily basis.

But. I'm not a griefer, I play fair, and I'm nice, and I legitimately know this.

EDIT: I also send them an invite since I don't kill non-forumer friends. :)

I can't seem to play dirty, because I normally avoid players. And If I pass by them, 99.99% chance is that they will start shooting at me, then I have to worry about watching my back all the time? I don't want to deal with that also.

That's why the invincibility glitch is available. "Deal with it?" I *am* dealing with it. I just happen to access a level lower than being a prick.

Hey, I am just a driver, so I'm not quite good with guns, and I hate to glitch, so the only thing that keeps me from these guys is my driving skills. Although it is pretty funny driving in circles with them chasing you.

Cheating is not justified just because you don't like the rules. This type of selfish logic is what ruins the game for everyone else. You didn't make the game, so you have no right to change the rules of it. I would suggest cheaters stay in their own lobby.

I do not disagree with that at all either. I have made a few friends via FR. Every time though it has been me coming across another player, them not shooting me and me not shooting them. Then we get up to random mischeif together but its never someone who shoots first.

That however was not the argument the OP was making. At the end of the day this is what we have been given by R*. Like it or not. The OP throwing a tantrum at people who play with what they are given is my issue. There is no rule book in GTAO. Anything goes. You may not agree with it but saying someone else shouldnt play the way they want because you dont like it is nonsense. We are given guns and plenty of ammo. Fact. We are given the opportunity to shoot each other in FR. Fact. How you choose to utilise that is completely up to the individual.

Well put. Again I agree. There are some options though. Forums (maybe not this one :p) are a good start. R* have given us gangs as well as a solo/invite only option. May not be the best method but again this is what we are given. If someone like yourself puts a good argument forward with another option R* may change it but crying about it is not (OP im talking about... not you).

Well, blame that fa**ot headdogg for ruining this thread.

Why all the butthurt dude. Explain to me your issue with me so I can address them. From what I can tell it all started from me telling you the meaning of passive mode on page one. Is this correct? Also what does sexual orientation have to do with anything. Are you homophobic?

Oh and sfbryan18 has pretty much closed this argument. If they didnt want us shooting at each other friendly fire would be off permanently. Not only for coop jobs.

Players like the OP would make lobbies with friendly fire off in GTA 4, where the only thing you could do with each other is kill cops. While everyone has their own preference in what they want to play, I am happy Rockstar didn't split the matchmaking up more than they already did.

I agree segregating the players is not the answer, but at the same time I sympathize with players who'd like to use the lobby to meet players to PvE with, wouldn't you agree it's extremely difficult for them the way it stands? You just have enjoy watching your character get murdered often... Pisses me off sometimes.. Other times i just laugh..:)
