What Mods Crash Cutscenes? I'm sure everyone can benefit from this

Can everyone please list all known reasons for cutscene crashes?
for example: Which characters can not be changed, vehicles, Incompatible CLEO Scripts or ASi. Just anything you guys know of that has caused crashes and what to be wary about altering.

I'm really set on changing all the characters and as many elements as i can
But i keep on receiving crashes, freezes


Specifically if anyone knows about these ones :
Just Business (big smoke) -
after the shootouts, we hop on a motorcycle, BF-400 and go down a spiraling tunnel. My game doesn't actually freeze all the way, time passes and all, but we never make it out of the spiral, and the camera does not pan down like how it should.
I thought it might be the modded motorcycle, but i changed it back and i still have the same result

In The beginning. right when Tenpenny first shows up, the game crashes immediately when the cop car shows up.

And VERY often the screen will go completely black after a cutscene will go on and i can still access the menu, when i hit resume i can hear the world alive. gun shots, people talking, but the screen is completely black.

ANY help will be deeply appreciated. I just want to weed out and be aware of what causes these crashes. I'm sure EVERYONE can benefit from this especially if they are modding cutscene characters and want to play the story through that way

You said you had cleo mods. What kinda cleo mods do you have ?

2048mb stream memory and streammemfix.asi are both doing the same thing, so yeah.

and any crash related to cutscenes that you know of?
even outside of my additions, so i know what to stay away from combining/adding

I don't know majority of these mods, so I don't know how they're written.

 

From these two stream memory fixes, I'd keep the ASI one.

I'm using SA Limit Adjuster, CLEO script to have the GSF, VLA, Triads and Unused Gang 10 respect each other, Coordinate showing script and a script for more gang turfs. Whenever I'm on a date with a girlfriend when I go into a dinner, bar, restaurant etc. while on a food date, the game freezes. Now I can't get the unique suits from the GF's

NormalMap often crashes in cutscenes (possibly because of cutscene skinned objects).

Jeansowaty, I think i had that problem when i made too many gang members in one area. Literally all the gangs. MY game crashed and i had to reverse that to continue without crashing

_DK Thank you very much for the information. I'll try removing it before cutscenes and see how that works

You mean that I have to remove the .cs file of the new gang turfs?

well i don't know what your method was but I changed the gangs territories with a savegame editor.
If you did it with a Cs file, is there a way you can alter the locations or amount?
I had to set new turfs and not let gangs overlap for mine to work

I removed all cleo mods and still the same this is a hard one.

Well your crashes are related to entering those places on dates right?
Have you modded any of your girlfriends models, cutscene models, or maybe the interior of the places you go to?
It could just be incompatible because of those things

Well I replaced the girlfriends but I didn't have any problems with it before. I'll try to replace them with their original ones.

I just read somewhere you can't go on dates with modded CJs, something to do with his clothing and all that. maybe thats it??

Taking off Normal map has worked for a few of the cutscenes! some still are Black screens when its over or kinda just free camera angle but everyhting is still alive

A lot of users change Player model with any other charackter model, the game crashes when girlfriend script checks for fat state and muscle state, same for food store and gymnasium feature

some users want to have more homies and add a fam4 model but fam4 already exist in cutscene.img and cause a conflikt by cutscene of House Party mission

or users don't know that it needs to rebuild img archiv and have then an unstable game

we can't know which bullsh*t the users have installed, not every mod is done fine

I think more and more modding in any way increase the chance for crash by any cutscene
