S0lo
I made over 40Mil.$ per character during "The Big Score", then successfully finished the campaign via "Deathwish" option- yet weeks have passed in-game and i'm still broke as hell. This is a copy of what i sent to Rockstar Support about a week ago and haven't gotten an answer yet: "I have recently finished the campaign of GTA V by successfully fulfilling the Deathswish option, then saw the beautiful credits and all, and was looking forward to receiving the 40+ million $ i gained in doing the "The Big Score" Mission in the "Obvious" way. Now several weeks have passed in-game and i have not received anything from Lester. I even reloaded a Save File from right after the credits and waited for weeks again, yet i still don't get anything. This is quite disappointing after investing so many hours in this game, and especially looking forward to DLC content that might build up on the campaign success. please help me receive the spoils of my criminal masterpiece so i can become as rich as i deserve. thank you." Apart from trying to find out if i'm the only one who had this happen (searching Google seems to indicate that, as the only ones with the "same" problem simply hadn't done Franklin's final mission), i'm hoping that someone here might have an idea on what's wrong and what i could do to fix it. So... anyone?
StangOne50
Dude this game has tons of glitches none of which R* seems to give a crap about. If you dont have an earlier save you may be screwed. Try to scrounge up what little money you have and play the stock market. I made just about a half billion myself doin just that.
S0lo
Yeah, well, i tried at least 6 different save files from after the heist, and none of them pays. seems like Lester became sentient and ran off with all my gold :I
S0lo
i'll bump this once hoping someone is on now who has some new point of view on this. if not, i'll let it die and probably just stay poor. At least, if Lester really ran off with my money, maybe i get some good real life karma for aiding the disabled.
Spuds725
Are other things working? Random events, S & F missions, property missions (assuming you have bought properties)-- If I recall correctly, the payout is "right after" the credits roll so I find it hard to believe the game got stuck between completing the mission and the payout time... For those that have had their game "stuck"-- it has eventually fixed itself but might take a while-- mine was "stuck" for about 5 or 6 real life weeks (well after me getting 100%)-- but I wasn't getting any property missions or random events-- one day after leaving GTAO-- they all started working again. If your game does appear to be stuck-- try going on GTAO for about 5 minutes and then exiting via the character wheel. S0lo
Everything else seems to work, but i haven't played much for the last few days cause of the frustration and getting in to GTAO. One guess i have is that the error comes from me having watched the entire credits, which took a couple of in-game days, that i think actually pass for your characters before you get back to playing after the credits. Yet, if that's the case, then why make the credits so goddamn beautiful? Why, Rockstar, why?!?
