In your opinion, if R* could start loaning us money, and we'd have to pay them back, would you like that feature? So we'd like go on our phones and go to the bank, it could say "Request Loan" you'd put your amount (***max $2,000,000***), and then you'd be in debt to R* till you paid it back. Payment would be like your daily bills, you set the daily amount, and all you need is the valid amount to pay that daily bill, if you failed, you'd get one warning, next warning is a Reposession attack (Attack!!), failure to fight off the attack results in a reposession of the car, & would require you to steal it back within 30 in game days before it gets sold. Anyways, do you think Loans would be a good idea in GTA Online and yes, you will have to pay them back

F$&k that!

To much like IRL..

Should characters have legit day jobs too?

My character doesn't need a loan. She's a crafty criminal. Cash is King!!!

You could get a loan off a buddy -> Adder to sell.

I'd like to have this kind of thing though, depending on what the payments would be...

$1 a day or 10g a day, you decide

OP, considering retail prices in this game are dreadfully unrealistic, I can imagine development gouging players with criminally bloated interest rates stymieing any endeavor to repay your principle.

Being as this is a game with crime and criminals the we would rob and steal and not pay sh*t back to R*... I mean the sole purpose of this game is to be a thief, ... So with that being said R* would loan us the cash and we would say f*ck you we ain't paying sh*t back?... If they send Merryweather to collect we will deal with them accordingly... R* loan me cash I will blow it and not pay sh*t back....lol

Now people will say this is how I am IRL... I say I paid off my car and credit cards but I wish I could tell em go f*ck yourself.....!...!

Huh. Not a bad idea. I have no expenses as it is. Yeah. Looking forward to having to work to pay something off.

Your idea sounds awful. you can pay 1 dollar a day on a 2m loan. What would be the downside of this? And what reason do you have to pay it back if you can just steal your stuff back...

What sort of collateral are you fronting for this loan? Oh wait we got nothing they can take...maybe we can put a car up for collateral?

i answered no because i was thinking you meant loans for loans sake. but actually as a game event there might be some scope for something based on these lines.

Someone once said that They should set it up where you have to pay them back in a certain amount of days or you lose your purchases (repo) your car or (foreclose) your home

That would be awesome! Perhaps we could work out a mortgage system!! Perhaps, and I know this is wild, but maybe we could get personal accountants and spend a few on-line hours sat in his office listening to how much we owe and how miserable life is. THEN we could do our in-game tax returns and give a percentage back to Rockstar every in-game year.

Right enough of this bullsh*t. I've got to empty my in-game bins and then mow my in-game lawn. Back to the grind.

Nah, I racked up $1.5m in about 7-8 hours playing missions and such. I don't even like credit IRL, put an idea like that in R*'s heads and they'll figure out how to charge interest.

I like the loss of the home idea. Generally banks don't want what you're gonna buy with the cash they lend you, you gotta have that collateral brah. They don't want your new sh*t you just bought Lol otherwise they'd be in the retail business too. And ain't nobody got time for that

Even better when your account reads negative because of a poor run (deliberate or otherwise) in one of the casinos, so they send hired muscle after you to collect.

What criminal is gonna walk into a bank for a loan? Their either gonna rob it or lean on the manager to "give" them the money.
