BaselA Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) im on rank 40 iv done everything you can do there's just so much missing or taking out of the game all there is to do is keep doing the same sh*t over and over there's no hunting no animals running around no banks to rob no casino to make money the stock markets is bul***** its way too hard and long to make money from the stores and missions all you get is chump change for hard missions how are you ever going to buy million dollar cars the shark money is down so you cant buy that. Grand Theft Auto V has a huge open world for the player to explore, with a sandbox reportedly bigger in scale than that of the previous two games in the franchise and Red Dead Redemption combined. Sadly, many of the people who inhabit this sprawling landmass are brainless robots milling about aimlessly and merely adding to the realism of the game. And lastly any mission in which the losing team gets nothing may as well not exist. It takes forever to get into a game, usually up to 5 minutes from the moment you first click to do a "Quick Game". First you gotta load the mission, then you gotta sit in a "setup" room...then you gotta pick your...whatever for that mission, then ready...then wait for everyone ELSE to ready...then you realize its a 1 death mission and you are somehow 1-shot across the map while behind perfect cover...now you get to sit and watch everyone else stand behind cover for 20 minutes. After that ends, and you get NOTHING...you get to wait all over again, first for mission voting...which usually breaks down into "Do the same mission again" or "everyone leaves"...even if you pick to do the same mission again, you have to do the SAME game setup screen again. The delay between missions is simply too long. If I want to play missions, I want them in quick succession, I don't want 15 minutes between games. There are really only about 4 missions. Racing (car, boat, plane, heli), deathmatch (free roam in a confined space with auto-aim), Grab the Whatever (which is basically just deathmatch with a moving objective) and parachuting (You best know how to land perfectly or don't bother). The ONLY missions that are worthwhile are racing. As long as you finish the race, which isn't hard, you always get something...usually a lot actually. Just 5 races will net you about 10-20k, and given how scarce money is online, thats probably some of the best income in the game. things to do in GTA 5 from the most part: 1.) Race on down the drain 2.) Do missions with retards 3.) Race on down the drain 4.)sell car to los santos custom 5.)get killed by random asshole 6.)steal a jet. Please give your opinions too, even if its hate. also if you have any suggestions on what to do then plz say. Personally I got into leveling, so I can always keep myself occupied just in that en-devour. Playing with (choice) others can enhance the fun factor a bit. I find whats best is to just not take any of it seriously. It is in the end, just another video game. It has some cool bells and whistles, but its just another shooter/racer/sandbox. Which is what really makes it a fun game after all. There is a lot of different things you can do, no matter what you like. You can do just about everything solo, so the need for others is only there if/when you want it to be. Whet gets boring, is the lack of interplay between players beyond the usual everything and everywhere is a death match mentality. There's no way to simply come together as strangers and create an atmosphere of camaraderie or find others with like minded play styles or in game goals. Even racing is nothing more than a death match with cars. My only gripe is how poorly some of it has been executed. Gun-handling is absolutely pathetic. The matching system seems to be really poor, or maybe nobody is doing anything except freemode? The render/draw distance is crap. Such a huge map/sandbox shouldn't be restricted to 16 players. It should be 48 at a minimum. maybe even 64 or 80. I know I'll get called a sh*thead for it but I was getting pissed off at some pieces of sh*ts. Play with friends, roleplay, just imagine something to do! In your second paragraph you state that GTA V is a huge open-world sandbox game; well? My recommendation: Switch to free aim OP you get 25% extra RP and do missions on hard (extra 1.5% too RP), you'll notice you are ranking up a lot faster and you'll get access to the good missions which'll pay around 10-25K and due to free aim and hard mode quite a few missions will throw 5K RP your way (even more if you kill a lot of enemies/cops in missions).. Since you say you have everything the game has to offer..call in a tank for those hard missions or an entity or similar bullet shield vehicle. By missions I mean missions from job givers..none of those trash deathmatches or versus missions..or races or LTS or any of that mess.
