but I think the negative reaction gta 4 got for being more serious and realistic kind of ruined this

they're going for the cod approach basically, bigger setpieces and more explosions

personally I think it's a shame since I really liked gta 4 in every way, we don't need figher jets and ridiculous vehicles

going from top-down view to 3d view was progress, limit the amount of weapons we can carry is not progress.

 

i normally use 2 guns per category one normal and the other with suppresor, each used in specific situations during my freeroam battles.

 

if im limited to lets say 3 guns, am i supposed to back to my apartment everytime i want to use another gun? i dont know you but in my book thats no progress.

There's should be no reason why a heavy sniper doesn't always kill you in one shot. Yeah I know "Get headshots noob!" Sometimes a headshot isn't available. If I shoot a real person with the rifle the Heavy sniper is based on, they're going to die or otherwise be incapacitated until they bleed out.

Seriously, I get reported ON FOOT for a crime. I hop into a car with no one around, with tinted windows, procced to drive at least 6 blocks from reported crime. Turn down an alley that had another alley directly across and park in a apartment parking spot that is covered. Cops show up on scene 30 seconds later and somehow know exactly what car I hopped in, which direction I went leaving the scene and knowing the exact alley I turned into and pull up right behind me in the parked spot and open fire....YEAH f*ckING RIGHT!!

No reason for NPC vehicles to turn into my path and crash into me DELIBERATELY every fkn time I'm driving anywhere, especially at high speed, (or taking a freshly painted car to Simeon). Didn't happen in GTA4, except when on missions, but in 5 it happens all the time. Even on a deserted freeway some dickhead will find a way to cut you off.
