GTA Online Should Be On PC

Considering the overall hope and intent for GTA Online, and its massively ambitious and awe aspiring ideals, I feel that GTA Online should be optimized for the PC, along with GTA V.

Never said that, I'd say in a couple years you'll see it on PC (once its popularity starts to die down..older GTA games are a prime example), next-gen I doubt.

It's obv gonna be on PC, GTAO on the last-gen consoles was obv a dry-run for GTAO on PC and PS4/Xbox 720, all the things they're talking about implementing could never work on PS3/360. It's so obviously a beta. Pretty good beta, but a beta none the less.

The issue is that globally PC sales are in decline and even Microsoft are shutting down game for windows live the PC equivalent of xbox live and PSN, so the future of PC gaming is very uncertain, and Rockstar have focused on consoles a lot more recently, so maybe, maybe not only yime will tell when they announce it.

It's not as if PC users will be on the same servers for GTAO so the likely ridiculous amount of modding won't affect anyone playing now.

 

I had been excited for a PC version until just now.

I'd take it for PC. For the mods. But who knows about "optimization". GTA4 was an AWFUL PC port.

couple of years seems a bit long

game won't even be relevant by then

but tbh I kind of expected it to be announced by now

usually console exclusive period lasts for about 6 months or something

so I wouldn't be suprised if the delay was caused by all the online problems
