Can't change my crew color

Right, so I've been looking in the search field to the upper right of the forum page trying to search anywhere and everywhere both in these forums and on google.

 

While there seems to be a long laundry list of issues with this game both online and offline, the one issue I haven't been able to fix is my crew color.

 

I've been able to manage coming up with a solution to nearly everything else, but the color just WON'T change to what I actually wanted.

 

I've been trying to change it over a period of about two weeks, patiently waiting for the servers to adapt the change (even just going to my job right after making the change expecting it to be done by time I get home).

 

I've even gone so far as to find the code for the color in the "inspect element" window, can't seem to force any changes that way but at least I'm doing everything I can (right?).

 

Am I missing something here?
