My latest favourite is to go as high as possible in a buzzard and hover over a multi story car park. Funny listening to the confused chatter from below. If someone works it out, I go off radar and bail out back to my pv. Rinse and repeat.

Okay, I really like this one. I'm definitely trying this next.

Dunno how well this works on most people, but generally people don't go near the car garages because of the glitches. Then again there is a lot of idiots running around....

I feel pretty confident that someone will try. I had one guy I think I killed 18 times trying to get up a hill after me. He must've felt like crap when I finally gave in and gave him the $1,000 out of pity. lol

Black & White

What?

How are you doing him a favor by killing him and taking the hired gunman cash for finishing him? If you fell sorrow for him, take a chance on your life and give him a ride.

You need a sense of humor, my friend. And a different color for the font!

Well why not simply say.. "Where do you hide after killing someone with a bounty on them and then escaping from them". I understood the joke but I have to admit that I wasn't really rolling on the floor with laughter. And if you cannot read the words in black font, I recommend visiting an ophthalmologist or changing the brightness of your laptop screen.

As for your question - Why hide? If you feel the urge to hide then you should probably hide in an apartment as absolutely no-one can obviously access your apartment. If you do that and you survive the price on your head, people will more than likely still be waiting for you to leave just outside of your apartment. Buy stacks of weapons and lots of ammo and get people caught into a trap. If you purchase a sniper, go to a balcony or a crane and pop people from high above.

Are you new to the game? I haven't been around that much, but even I know that the bounty timer stands still if you're in your apt. People hide because, if you spend 24 in-game hours with a bounty and no one's collected it, then YOU get the money. Simple logic. You survive, you get money.

If i'm not just carrying on with whatever i was doing, i like to try to make it fun.

Racing around the city on a motorcycle is quite good fun. Or choosing a place to make a stand. Generally in places that aren't too difficult to get to, otherwise it's boring.

Just outside my apartment. As soon as someone gets near I'll go back in until they get bored waiting and then I'll go outside until someone else turns up. Either that or I'll just go to an invite only. Easy money with no effort.

I think more to the point is that everyone else in here is having fun and sharing stories and you still don't get it.

Let me clear it up for you. It was not made to be funny. It was made to be ironic. Some of us are over 200 levels legit right now and honestly, it can get boring. When we share ideas we get new things to do to have fun.

Sure I can get a bounty on me and just walk in the street, arms raised, and go free money! Then of course, why am I playing if I do that? People always say they're bored and have nothing to do? Well, here's something to do and I have to say it's going to be a lot of fun and other players are having fun as well.

I LOVE doing this at Weazel towers because the apartment and the car lot are so far apart but in game there like 3 steps. So go out the front door, they coming running up and suddenly you're back at the garage! Noobs don't know what's going on.

I think it's funny that nobody has said they sit in their apartment, call Mercenaries or Muggers and watch the CCTV of the person getting beat down at their front door.

I like to take a helicopter and to land on a roof near the yacht harbor in LS. I don't recommend to go up there if you want to keep the bounty (too risky) or if you're a noob (lack of weapons to defend yourself effectively). If you just wanna have fun and to be in a good position to defend yourself, go for it.

Walls high enough for good cover and low enough to climb. Good overviews of an intersection, the heliport and more. Grenades and stickies can not reach you. Tanks can not kill you if you're not standing too close to a wall (I'm not sure here) or on a wall. To fight off aircraft and parachutists is not difficult. Though a skilled Lazer pilot can be a problem, especially if you don't have a heavy sniper rifle.

I'm wondering what if you hole down inside the Ammunation with the gun range and hang in that room on the side that leads to the range?

Can you lay stickies in there without pissing off the shopkeeper? Or. Best to just throw them in front of door?

Anybody try that yet?

I hang out near groups of white dots who will come after me. having a bounty just means i haven't got to go looking for aggro, it comes to me. gtao at it's very best.

hiding and preserving the bounty - total waste of time (you can earn 50/60k in the same time on jobs) and missed opportunity.

unless a tank shows up, anyone who takes me down is welcome to my bounty - whether i get no kills or 20, thanks for the fun. if someone comes looking with a tank they can suck my has left the session, i'll save my bounty for a player, lvl 200 or lvl 2 i don't care, as long as they're not a tank scrub.

Go to an invite only to wait 48 minutes? When I turn on my console it's to play games not to wait around for a measly $9000 that I can win in a race in 3 minutes.

I've never tried it, but I know the second a weapon goes active he lights you up.

This may be a good use of calling the cops on anyone standing outside the store though.

There's pleanty to do. I still do missions and survivals by joining via the Quick Job option in the phone only I respawn back in my invite only session. I'll explore the map, go on a tank rampage, take cars to LSC, rob shops, get stocked up on ammo and snacks.

$9,000 is far from measly for me or else I'd just let someone take it and not have to put up with the hassle that comes from having a bounty on your head.

I don't do races or any PvP rubbish so saying you can win that in a race is invalid.

If I judge the process safe I airlift a tank too the Maze Bank Tower. Then I have a laugh at people rage when their helicopters explode.

Only died once doing this. Got cocky and went out of the tank to shot down a helicopter hovering above me and the bastard smashed me with the heli...

Have taken down 3 or 4 Lazers from up there too..

hahaha forgot about calling the po-po. Do they start trying to attack random players when you call them?

Get a tank and go down into the underground. The bit by the construction site near Simeons I survived there today after a friend thought it was funny to put one on me.

Few noobs came down got blasted and left me alone.

I then spawn killed my friend with my tank for putting it on my head.

Plenty come looking. I usually stick a $1k bounty on them for the lolz. It works well over the large comstruction site also.

This is where an airstrike comes in handy... :p

I chased a bounty the other day out to Zancudo river. He took a boat up the rapids to where the train line crosses over. The river splits into 2 at that point. A large rock sticks out the middle. One side is a waterfall and the other the rapids you can speed up in a boat. He hid on the rock in the middle. The terrain there is up and down and I could find nowhere to get a decent shot at him and the bridge makes it hard for a chopper to maneuver. I tried to go after him but just couldn't do it. Eventually I tried to swim over to him but he ended up blasting me while in the water. I dont hide from a bounty personally but had to give this guy credit. He had it covered pretty well.
