Where do I hide! - Bounty Trolling.

So you know how it happens. You're cruising around and some guy turns red. He's got a bounty. Now you're thinking, "this is sad!" This guy has to walk around in fear of being blown up! So you do him a favor and remove it by collecting the bounty! Good job!

 

But wait! How does he repay you? By pouncing a $9k bounty on you! Now, not that this is a big deal! Sure, you could run to your apartment and collect, laughing in his face. I mean let's be honest, he just hasn't figured out how to highlight you yet. Seriously though, what fun would that be!

 

So instead you get in the most tactical position you can find and hold him off for the duration of your bounty!

 

The real question is:

 

Where did you hide and what strategy do you use!

 

For me, I hide on the hill North of the Fort. It's difficult to drive up, has tons of vantage points, is remote and is best approached by choppers with tons of view all around.

I just use any method of escape. Driving as fast as possible, hopping on trains, getting an aircraft, running through alleys and climbing ladders, and such. But I suppose if I wanted to hide, it would be in the sewers/trolley tunnels.

I make it fun (for me)....get in a helo and there's a certain Hotel that you can land on, not too high up, where you can easily shoot anyone who stops to try to take your money. I usually end up killing a few people, then my balls get quite big and I end up getting on the ledge to shoot someone, and they end up sniping me off there, or I walk too fast towards the end of the ledge and end up falling off (lol).

If you run to a wall glitch we can all agree your a c*ntra Mcc*nt, at least have the decency to just hide in your crib. Anyway, I like to hide underground (the area where you take the bikes underground in the jewelry store heist), take cover on board the moving train, or just cruise around in a buzzard/lazer.

Running and gunning around the FIB building/Maze bank area with the auto-shottie. Don't usually survive the full bounty, but I know that area real well and usually get well over 10 kills before someone eventually pops me.

Depends where I am. With npc bountiesni tend to ignore them and its quite easy for people to collect as I have a dont shoot first policy and often forget I have the bounty on my head.

 

If a player puts a bounty on me then I consider that a declaration of war and make every effort to make it as hard for them to collect as possible. And try to outthink them. Love standing on the roofs of liquor stores or clothes stores and watch as they predictably take cover and aim at the doors for me to exit totally unaware that I have a perfect shot at there heads. Then drop from the roof enter the store and watch as this time there to busy trying to get a shot at you on the roof they dont even see you coming out with a shotgun pointed at them. Its too easy to outsmart many of the players of this game. Not suprising considering most are well under 18

The submarine trick is almost as gay as the wall glitch. I just haul ass around the city in whichever super car I'm driving that day. The 2 most suited for this particular move are the infernus and the cheetah, since they corner and accelerate so well.

Trains are good but NOT in auto-aim maps. mountains are ok but no good if you being chased by an obsessive. Sewers are not good if they decide to come down them and look for you, grenades will get you if you hide around a corner for them. Best advice from me is simply stand still and let them kill you. Bounties are f*cking stupid and make people waste a lot of their ammo for no other reason than killing the hunters. I used to run but now I just get out of my PV and walk a distance away and stand still.

There's a certain AMMU-Nation where there is a ladder. I sometimes hide on top of the roof and stupidy, people assume you're inside. You can pop a couple of people off on there and then sticky bomb the ladder. They try and climb up, BOOM.

Dafuq is this? Worst idea ever. Bitchez gonna work for it. Some of my greatest moments in gta have been outrunning a full server for 48 mins.
