Motorcycles can't use ramps?

Likely been discussed before, but I found nothing when i tried to search "motorcycles ramps".

 

Oddly enough I have been in game for a month but only recently did I try to jump a ramp from the race creator with a motorcycle...it didn't go well. My character "supermanned" over the handle bars face first into the ramp....blood everywhere....viewing children were emotionally scarred for life.

 

So what is the deal with this? I tried every ramp available just to test it out and same results. I could only use the ramp if I rode a wheelie into it and even then the wheelie had to be a fairly high one, not just a few inches off the ground.

 

Is there something I am missing here, or is this a known issue that they simply haven't fixed?

it's been an issue for a while, i think since the content creator became available

As far as I'm aware, it's a known issue that hasn't been fixed. I've made several tracks with ramps enabling motorcycles. Somewhat pointless cause the route doesn't work unless you're riding on four wheels.

I was racing with a crew of jerk-faces, who kept referring to me as "The Virgin". I lost race after race on different tracks against these abusive pricks. Finally, "Four Way Madness", I think it's called, with ramps in the middle, came up and they voted it in.

 

The jerk-face host made it motorcycles, and I said over my mic, "hey, motorcycles don't work with ramps." But they all just called me a stupid virgin, laughed at me, and left it as motorcycles. The race started, I went around the ramps, they all crashed into the ramps. The rage was intense, and it was somehow The Virgin's fault. I won the race. They raged, then kicked me.

Pop a wheelie right before hitting the ramp. Works every time I remember to do it

I WAS IN FIRST GODDAMN PLACE AND WENT TO HIT THE JUMP AND THAT POS STOPPED MY BIKE LIKE A CONCRETE WALL.

 

WENT FLYING OFF MY BIKE AND DIED SO FOR THE REST OF THE MATCH I JUST CAMPED THE JUMP AND SHOOT EVERYONE.

Yeah using jumps with a motorbike can be a problem. If I have the chance to go around a jump then I always will, but if I have no option then I just lean back a little and it seems to work about 80% of the time.

I have previously had this issue and watched this video and it worked for me although I have not used it in a while I have since not had the issue :-)
