When problems arise, just send your friend a message and have them send one back on xBox. You can listen to your own message and the return.

Most of the times I have problems in the lobby while in a party I'm fine.

Turtle Beach for £25? They saw you coming!

Turtle Beach £15.99 from Argos here and no issues. I can still hear idiots and idiots can still hear me.

You Are All V1rgins

My TV speakers =no difference in sound

Surround sound 5.1 = no difference in sound

Entry level turtle beaches(I think I payed $14.99 CAD) =no difference in sound

Tried all my stuff, and couldn't hear any distortion , and I'm a bit of an audiophile. It must be your head set,

Are your TV speakers Ok?

All you people and your fancy headsets... I've been using the same basic microsoft wireless bluetooth looking thing for years. Never had a problem with it. Can hear just fine.

I use the exact same as you (ex-01) and I don't have problems with it.

I think a lot of mics clash because some people I hear clear and others sound very distorted.

But when I turn mic off they still sound distorted on my tv so it must be there mics.

Apart from a few distorted squeakers, I hear everyone ok

Turtle beach here and no problems at all

This :^: I would recommend TB as well. From what I know is they generally have a pretty good reputation for their products regardless of how much you are looking to invest on your set-up. I personally use the PX3 which have great quality audio and a crystal clear mic. Whats more is that is categorized on their website for "Light Gamers" I couldn't imagine what the quality would be like for their "Heavy Gamer" and "Premium" headsets let alone "Moderate Gamers"

Did you turn volume up in settings?

Also how far from the tv are you?

The cheaper mics tend to distort the further away from the tv you are

Mine randomly did this to me on cod bo2 online twice so i signed off then back on again everything was fine,

My headset has never done this on story mode in that game nor ethier gta 5 or online or any ofther of my games just that onel so my guess would be something with a connection issue :rol:

resetting your BT connection to the Headset

Ive got both an EX-01 and an EX-05, the only times ive had this were when it was the other end (the ex-01 wireless actually ahs better sound quality than the wired EX-05)

But while its just a bluetooth headset you can easily test it... connect it to your phone via bluetooth, ring a friend (pref landline) and check the sound quality...; a pretty easy way to determine if the headset speaker or mic is at fault.

if its fine try going onto the audio settings on the ps3, remove the headset then re-config it to the ps3, set your mic and audio levels again and retest in game...

also does it happen on any other games and if you listen to yourself on the mic test do you hear any distortion??

you need to isolate each part i.e mic and speaker,,, so do some listening without talking, talking without volume up on the mic, and you will be able to rule it out... although youll need to bug the sh*t out of a friend while you do, im sure youve got one that doesnt mind
