How rare are the gang cars?

As I found this in an invite only yesterday

 

 

I've had the yellow Poyote (sp?) before and didn't like it, never seen the green or purple gang cars though and wouldn't mind trying a purple one

I tried to get one of these for a couple days had no luck... I went to the places described in this AWESOME THREAD, but I could only get them to spawn when I drove there in a stock version of the gang car I wanted

I forget what car she was in now, Bullet I think. after an incident involving 2 of them and a Grenade they shot her to bits so the car had to be got back.

 

I've seen the yellow ones loads, its the others I seem to miss

I havn't seen them driving on the streets in such a long time...

 

I went to Grove street in my stock Bucaneer ( on my 2nd Character) and finally saw a gang Buc sitting at the end of the Cul-De-Sac, freakin lose my mind, jump into it and of course I get a $7000 bounty on my head, and some asshat in an Adder stickies me... I tried the same tactic as soon as I respawn and I got another Gang Buc to spawn on Grove street.

 

The Gang Bucaneer is alot better than the stock one. COmes with Fully tinted windows, fully lowered suspension, Painted roof and Nicer rims. Great for a low level person (like my 2nd character) who wants something nice right away.

There not incredible rare but they're fun to find and they have cosmetic mods that are unlocked only at higher levels, like extra trim, custom wheels, and limo tint. The purple Ballas cars you would find on Grove st in the Cultisac where the In The Grove race marker is. I found lots of Tornados there. Sometimes parked with no-one around sometimes the Ballas are hanging around and they'll shoot yo ass up!! So be ready. Sometimes the Ballas cars are cruising in the street in Franklins block in the hood.

The green The Families cars are found by the oil rigs over the bridge from wher you found the Vagos cars. I mostly see 2 green Bucaneers park in one specific spot. I just sold one the other day. The sell for 7800 stock, but mine was modded and got much more for it. I was driving it around for a while. I was collecting gang cars for a while there before the big money gifts from the sky.

I'm going after some mission cars now, like the Dominator from Cops Capacity.

 

Oh I just notice that thread from the post above shows the locations of the three gangs in the map.

Fair enough thanks all, I'll keep looking to catch a Ballers one. I'm not over keen on the muscle but if ones found, I'll get her to give it a try

Do you mean the yellow Dominator at Lester's? what makes this car special? ANd I thought you couldn't store mission cars...unless you finish the whole mission with it?

Lola managed to store the Purple Baller from one of the Gerald missions by finishing the mission with it, then taking it to LSC for tracker and insurance, so it can be done.

 

And that dominator has full armour doesn't it?

I've heard it has full amour. Not sure what other mods though.

For me, the green gang cars spawn fairly easily, then the purple....the yellow Vagos cars never seem to want to spawn for me. Down at the scrapyard I can get the silver Tornado and maroon Peyote to spawn fairly easily, but the Blue Tornado doesn't seem to want to spawn for me anymore.

If you're on X-box, I'll help you do that later...can't play for a couple of more hours...I have a Gauntlet for racing, but I'd swap it out for a fully armored Dominator in a second!
