Pat
And the wii was like 150 (correct me if im wrong) and it won the console war, followed by the xbox. Actually, the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 globally. He's talkin between the 3Yes, and he's saying the 360 followed the Wii in terms of sales, which is incorrect because it was outsold by the PS3. I don't know what's difficult to understand about that. poklane

rubix99
Another bad week for Microsoft as the Xbox One is now even further beneath heel in their home turf (USA) for the week of February 1st 2014. PS4 sold 80,246 units in USA. Xbox One sold 59,747 units in USA. That is over 20,000 more PS4s sold than Xbox One consoles in the Xbox hotspot of the USA for that week!!!!!! Double the previous week where PS4 had an approximate 10,000 lead in that country. The Xbox One also continues to fall even further behind in Europe aswell for the week of February 1st 2014. Killerdude
Sony seems to be On and Off when it comes to Console Domination, The PS1 was more popular N64, but they came back with a furious awesomeness with the PS2, then they Almost had it, but inevitably lost it with the PS3, and are now coming back with the PS4. I wonder if the PS5 will take a back seat in the next generation... Edited February 17, 2014 by Killerdude8

Stop using it if you want to be credible. Those 13 countries contain all the essential countries for Xbox consumers. The major Europe countries along with its most vital hotspot......the USA. These countries make up the overwhelming majority of total lifetime worldwide Xbox 360 sales. Microsoft have already fired their best shots. Sony still have one last major ace up their sleeve coming into play this Saturday.....Japan. Which is known as a pro-Playstation nation where the PS3 outsold the 360 by 10 to 1 in total lifetime sales. All Xbox machines have been a sales flop there. This is no doubt why Microsoft have still not even announced a release date in Japan for Xbox One. Its pretty obvious they know its going to completely tank there. The great almighty NPD have already said the PS4 sold almost twice the amount of units the Xbox One sold in the USA during the whole month of January 2014......if this is indeed true then that is MUCH MORE of a sales gap than what the VGChartz figures have been showing for that country. Well we will keep an eye out next month for the "all definitive" NPD statistics and see how they fare up against the weekly VGChartz that are coming out each week this month. But if what they been saying about the month of January is true, that the PS4 sold almost twice more the number of units than Xbox One in the US.....it could indeed be much worse for Xbox One than what VGChartz statistics are showing. rubix99
New weekly sale results for the week of 15th February 2014 are in. As always....Xbox One continues to be beneath heel. USA: PS4 - 51,705 units sold Xbox One - sold 35,190 units sold Wii U - sold 18,906 units sold Europe: PS4 - 57,200 units sold Xbox One - 10,562 units sold Wii U - 9,807 units sold "oh but Xbox One has only launched in 13 countries"!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure, yet those 13 contain the European countries and the USA. Lets look at the total lifetime global sales of the Xbox 360. Xbox 360 has sold 81.11 million units globally since launch. 71.59 million of those units were sold in the USA and Europe. The rest of the world made up for the remaining 9.52 million units sold. Put simply......the Xbox One has launched in all its major territories. Those will be where approximately 88% of its overall success will come from. European Union allows us just to drive into certain countries. A lot of people close to the Belgium border also send their kids to Belgium schools since they teach more discipline. A lot of people who lived close to the German border also moved just a few kilometers into Germany, due to lower taxes etc. And since we all pay with the same currency, that isn't a problem. I'm pretty sure that if I would want to, I could just drive to Poland for the f*ck of it. Same if I wanna go to south-Spain. Once went on vacation to France by car, never had to stop at a border, you just see a welcome sign that says ''Welcome to France''. iBUCKEYE
Admittedly, Xbox did slightly beat the PS3 last generation. But it still managed to catch it up and overtake it in the sales part and better exclusives were out altogether. Just like this gen, PS3 was more powerful except the hardware was more complicated, so the potential was never seen in its early stages. Nah, 360 won with exclusives. Halo and Gears alone won that(not counting the abominations that were H4 and Gears: Judgement)
