Didnt think to take the yellow Dominator that was just sitting there. wiki says its fully amored and can keep the car after. Can I keep it after still?? Wil I still be in it if I go back to Lester's and finish mission in it? Looking to keep one for my main character and this would be the one.. reform Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Yes you can keep it if your PV is in your garage and you are inside the Dominator when the missions completes. At one time you could also sell it for $16k but it can no lobger be sold. The same method works for all road vehicles, but for certain missions you will need a second player - One player to sit in the vehicle far enogh away from the mission hand in that the completion cut scene won't trigger for them (as this will erase the vehicle), while the other player completes the mission. Yeah I read the part about the 16k and knew they patched that. Oh I get it now.. I have to be far away driving the car and not get the cut scene. It just pops up mission passed and you get paid.. I remember back when I used to steal the lawyer's car from Out of Court Settlement and story it in my garage and sell it for $22k. I tried this the other day because I wanted to keep the car with the upgraded tires and it wouldn't let me. The same thing happened with a Mesa I drove back to my garage from Titan of a Job. I love finding little hidden things about games (in this case keeping cars from missions with a few upgrades) and they just took it away from us. Why? I was sitting in the upgraded yellow Dominator outside my apartment when my friend got to Lester's safehouse. After the mission completed I did spawn in the car, but I couldn't put it in my garage and when I brought it to LSC there was no option to put a tracker on it. When I tried to store my Mesa in Titan of a Job one of the other players landed the plane up at the desert airfield while I was still down at the airport in the Mesa so it doesn't work no matter what you do. JasonZN Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I don't really think R* intended for us to keep those vehicles, because I had made the fully armored dominator my pv and I tried to mod its armor upgrades it showed it had none but it was resistant to almost everything unfortunately not permanent vehicle loss, it may have been a glitch I guess, but it showed I had no armor upgrades. I think there is a fix for it but I already replaced their slots so I can't get them back. Did that for me too,but seems to still have armor and bp tires, nice keep for a low level. I think it won't display upgrades at LSC unless u have purchased them.
