FamousLV
Hello community, i'm recently starting to have a problems in the Multiplayer game of GTA:SA. Every time when i connect to a server, for example to RP, in few minutes my game just freezes, not only the game, but also whole pc. Problem should be in modifications, which i have. Like for some vehicles, weapons and for effects. But i don't have them that much and i'm wondering why this problem is happening. I thought maybe it's because of the gta's version? I currently have 1.0 version. Is there a possible version which could handle mods and not freeze the gameplay? Or there is other problem which is not related to a version, but other. Please response, i really need a help into this. Thanks in advance!
lil weasel
Well, since the DVD v1 game hasn't been available since 2006 it could be your game. You might consider buying the current DVD v2 or Legit Download v3 games. Then you would need to 'downgrade' to allow for v1 applications/modding. We don't discuss how to downgrade here. You might also consider NOT using mods for online gaming, as only you can see them, unless they are 'hosted' on the server.
significantother
Do you have a lot of programs open? also Having a bunch of high-detailed mods can cause the amount of memory the game uses to increase Also you can only mod the 1.0 version, (ive also heard you can mod the 2.0 version but i am not sure how to do that). You cant mod the steam 3.0 version of the game. Edited February 3, 2014 by yoshiandluigi3
