ringtone7 Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 Nope, you can't make me. Don't f*cking make a drive a bike, it is not an enjoyable challenge for me. They are boring to me because well, its a bike, they all kinda look the same. They are unreliable, unpredictable and just stop the action completely when you wipeout. What they lack in every practical aspect they make up for in maneuverability but that's it. I can do pretty much everything I can do on a bike with my Banshee. No thank you I'll leave it on the friggin' shelf away from my garage. And its not just this game, its every game. I just don't like bikes! Am I complaining? The only uses for a bike in the game are popping wheelies on the runway @ LS Airport for rewards and occasionally during missions where you might want a better aim for drive by's. otherwise the like of protection is a chore and any fast car on an open road will have you (a bike is decent for alleyways, jumps and evasion in tight areas, but a bullet is hard to dodge). Another rider breaks a stop sign and the flying stop sign kills me (but not him?). Another rider crashes and their randomly tumbling ragdoll corpse launches me off the track. In the game, It's something different than just driving a car around. You have more protection in a car but a bike can go more places than a car. If it wasn't true I wouldn't have written it. At the start I used to have just the Elegy and Akuma, took a bit to get used to the bike but I was racking up the wins in random lobbies with both back then. Joined a racing crew and was mostly racing cars, completely lost my bike mojo, for ages as well. Was close to selling the bike and moving on but decided to go for it head 1st. Gave it a very expensive respray and started making bike only races, made a bike only playlist, I take it out in FM a lot more and I'm rediscovering the love. In fact, you aren't getting away in an adder or carbonizzare either. THAT is the prime reason I use bikes, that plus the fact that because you can wipeout and get killed forces the tards to stick to their adders. The only challenge when it comes to pursuing a "runner" are those other players skilled at high speed bike driving. Biggie Kaniff Posted February 2, 2014 Share Posted February 2, 2014 I like bikes. Got an Akuma and a Bagger in my garage. Akuma is for speed and the Bagger just for the looks. Cruising around in free roam on a bike is just awesome. Actually I had a Bati but sold it and changed for the Akuma. Loved the Bati, but the Akuma outruns it, the handling is better. I can evade pretty much any car, or lead them to a location I know which will give me a combat advantage. If I crash I have time to pull a weapon before their vehicle arrives. Also if you are a piss poor car driver then the bikes will not be your friends. I suggest you drive your fastest car on the opposite side of the road and avoid and play chicken with as many as possible, preferably over by Chumash where the trucks spawn...this will sharpen your reaction skills which must be razor sharp in orde for you to drive your bike like its a Supercar. I love the thrill when I'm absolutely flying on my bike, do I still crash, yeah sometimes but driving it smart helps a lot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
