I don't mind it. as long as it's set to pick-ups. the pure hand to hand thing is just a button mashing luck-of-the-glitch-fest. i can't stand the thick f*cks who sit in the lobby going "turn off the weapons dog, weapons are bullsh*t" in their very deepest hollywood voice with absolute minimum enunciation like they've had quite enough baseball bat action in real life.

 

but it just illustrates maybe the biggest thing that's wrong with GTA - the job selection system. zynga poker on facebook has a better system ffs.

As much as I hate all melee deatmatches, I will say that it's a good way to boost up your Stolen Kill count if you're going for that award. I'm just a few away from Platinum now.

The main problem is that GTA's melee system is pretty much trash. This doesn't make for a very good DM that is based entirely off of that.

 

Essentially you're taking a poorly implemented aspect of the game and then expanding upon that in a match all about it. No good.

 

Other problem is this comes up so damn often when I'm looking to join a random DM (because hosting your own doesn't work unless it's this) it's not funny.

 

Again - separate the USG content from R* Created. We'd all be happier.
