I Lost my freaking cars! WHY?

I wanted to move closer to the fighting and I dont use 10 cars. I really dont use six but o well I move anyway. SO I read the other day a guy losing his cars when he move, but I was safe because I only had six car and they was in the first six space. Boy was I so wrong I lost my Elky the one I really love and it was in the first space on the right size of the garage then I lost the felon I love. The two cars I get on my own and upgrade I lose. Why I dont understand and why dont they let us put the cars in there the way we want to. And one last thing why not say only the cars on the left size will be move and anything on the right you will lose.

negative, u moved from a 10 car to a 6 car correct? go back to a 10 and see if they return, for the test get the cheapest 10 car to keep the experiment to a minimal cost.
