A Song That Made Me Think About GTAO

Heard Tool's Aenema today, instantly thought of gtao. Changed up they lyrics to it though: (if someone could post a YouTube vid of the song thx)

"Ænema"

Some say the end is near.

Some say we'll see Armageddon soon.

I certainly hope we will.

I sure could use a vacation from this

Bullsh*t three ring circus sideshow of freaks.

Here in this hopeless f*cking hole we call L.S.

The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.

Any f*cking time. Any f*cking day.

Learn to swim, I'll see you up in Paleto Bay.

Fret for your RP

And fret for your adders and

Fret for your buzzards and

Fret for your cargobob and

Fret for your chrome cars and

Fret for your heists and

Fret for your contract and

Fret for your car.

It's a bullsh*t three ring circus sideshow of freaks

Here in this hopeless f*cking hole we call L.S.

The only way to fix it is to flush it all away.

Any f*cking time. Any f*cking day.

Learn to swim, I'll see you up in Paleto Bay........

What the hell is Ænema? Some kind of Latin dude from the antic Rome?

I think it's something the doctor gives you if you don't eat enough fibre and laxitives just aren't working.

I like the bit where you say Tool.

(incidentally, A Perfect Circle > Tool)

I like the bit where you say Tool.

(incidentally, A Perfect Circle > Tool)

I am going to have to disagree with you there bub. APC is a little too alternative than progressive. That, and the lyrical composition within Tool tracks seems to always be more thought through. Don't get me wrong, I love all of Maynard's work... TOOL, APC, Puscifer, each project has its distinct form separate from the other.

We're all different, aren't we (thankfully)! Once I heard The Outsider my choice was made. I've given Tool a fair go but it's just not me. I'm obviously not knocking anyone for disagreeing, but that's just me.

If you like Tool as much as I like A Perfect Circle then we're both winners :)

Agree'd, if you want a mind blowing experience though...take a gander at this.

It explains and demonstrates how Lateralus is a recreation of the Fibonacci sequence.

Thank you. That is without doubt the most sincere 'like' I have ever given a post on this or any other forum. I want to meet you in GTAO purely to salute you and then leave.

Shame. My PSN is Furry_Monkey. There's still a possibility of me buying this for Xbox as well, and if I do then that salute is the first thing I'll purposely do. Hell, I'm tempted to buy it purely for that :p

Mine is probably this. This song is poignant in ways that I cannot describe, and it inspires me in many, many ways that I like to think will help other players learn more about the world that we call GTAO.
