This is an easy question....they took out a lot of things because it's just more things they have to render, which takes up space. They make the population of the online world seem like a ghost town compared to the single player because of this very same reason. Rockstar screwed up by not having this on the next gen systems. PS4 and XboxOne both have tons more space and can handle much more than PS3 and Xbox360.

 

I still can't believe Rockstar brought this game out just a couple months before the release of the PS4 and XboxOne and didn't have it on those next gen systems....thats crazy! This game is running worse and worse as they add things to it, because our current systems can't handle it. When this game first started online, I had zero pop-ins, zero freezes, and zero lag. As they added the Beach Bum and the Content Creator to GTAO, it got immediately worse. These systems can't handle much more than what is already in the game, so it's only going to get worse.

You can jump in singleplayer, and then press B/Circle to do a ragdoll dive.

He meant when in SP, you would jump with one of the characters and hit B or circle after, causing the character to do a faceplant.

They've said why they put it on last generation consoles, they've made their stance quite clear. They are much more familiar with the hardware and knew that they could still make improvements and push the tech even further.

Of course, this is about GTA V itself, and not GTA Online.

 

The game will most likely make it's way to next gen, or current gen, but it's naive to think that they'd be released at the same time, or even soon after, at that, or that Rockstar would even put focus first on a system that is still in it's infancy.

 

But, whatever, vidya gaems.

It's an ineffective tackle button, but it's definitely the tackle button.

 

I still haven't knocked down an NPC with it. Mostly it's me faceplanting, with the NPC just barely getting away.

I would figure you would either slide down the mountain, most likely, or would just get back up as normal. I never tried it while going down a mountain, so I could only guess
