Honestly it seems pointless to buy a console for the sake of 1 game IMO. You've waited 2 years and 4 months, I am sure the announcement is really close now. Buying a console now would make your wait seems kinda pointless.

 

If you do want to though, go for a used PS3. It has some nice exclusives and free online. And majority don't really have problems with the game, it looks amazing and beautiful on nearly 10 year old hardware. Although I personally would wait, there are no major problems on consoles as far as I know. I must give them props for being able to even run the game, and this is coming from a PC gamer.
