Im not trying To Start A Big Riot here, That will send this topic to Talking about how those science labs Torture monkeys. But im not Saying OMG WHY YOU NO MAKE ALL VEHICLES WORK FOR FWANKWINS ABWITWE ( you probably knew i spelled those wrong on purpose.) Ok? im just a little dissapointed that aircraft or boats cant be used with the special ability. I Just wish the ability worked for atleast 1 aircraft or 1 boat. if you could actually use the special ability with (atleast 1) aircraft or (atleast 1) boat(s?). And as you could tell above, im in a bad mood. well not anymore! So anyway, im not really furious on them making aircraft (or boats) work with the ability. so if you disagree with my opinion, ill probably agree depending if your reply is "i disagree" (to explain what i said, ill probably ignore your reply if its just a plain reply with no words other than i disagree) And this is also my first topic. you also cant blame me for not looking 100 pages back just to see if theres a topic about this already. And Completely off topic, but does anyone else notice theres about atleast 20 views on one thing, yet only a few people reply. i just asked if you noticed, i do know its probably only lots of guests.(people without accounts) So anyway, please reply with your oponion. And BTW i understand why franklins ability is only for cars now, ill still read your reply, but not reply to it. Plus he works a lot with driving high performance cars so he must be good at it! Well actually When you first get the characters, they all seem to know how to control even the most advanced vehicles straight away from the storyline. (for example, frankling can pilot jets, rhino tanks, jet airliners) trevor flying planes is understandable as he used to be a military pilot, but the other characters? no experience at all. micheals seen driving a dinghy in that train driving mission, suggesting he knew how to use boats. but theres no actual proof that the other characters should be able to control machines this advanced. with that logic, franklin should be able to use his magic special ability on the planes or boats. all the characters must be freaking geniuses or something if they know how to pilot machines you need years of training to master. and just as you said Franklin never flyed a plane before or a boat, and he still manages to get full control and pilot dem machines like a boss. Notice that Franklin has a little tool for getting into high end cars (whereas Trevor just smashes his way in) That.. was actually so good explained i cant even reply to that. and doesnt micheal have that "little tool" aswell? franklins and micheals way of stealing parked cars seem the same, but trevors smashes as you said. and as with the reply i gave to that other guy with all characters knowing how to pilot everything from the start means that they must of had training with all the vehicles in the entire gta 5 game. (only including the drivable ones) otherwise that would just make be pouring the logic out of their head. And dont some vehicles that F, M, And T Know how to use straight away, probably take years to know how to drive. although other vehicles may take months to master. i mean really , Stop pouring that logic out of your head. although if you werent able to pilot all the vehicles it would just be plain boring. because of that, i dont blame . And Franklin ability was explained before. He's portrayed as skilled driver (boosting cars and working as repo man), so he can use land vehicles in more special way. His special ability just adds on to it. Its not that time is slowing down, its just that he has the ability to think fast and make quick but accurate adjustments in those kind of extreme situations. He is not a pro at flying nor driving boats. As far as I know only Franklin is able to steal cars in quiet way. Both Trevor and Michael just smash the window. Yeah, only Franklin can pick the lock. Franklin's ability is only for land vehicles since he is a very skillful driver. Michael can slow down time with guns because he is a sharpshooter. Then Trevor's is just meth rage. Just like how Dead Eye put emphasis on the cowboy-trope of being a skilled shooter. Or how Max Payne says in MP2 "Time slows down when you're staring down the barrel of a gun." lol232 Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) IIRC Franklin never had to fly an aircraft (storyline wise), most of the time you did you were flying as Trevor and rarely as Michael. No it isn't. In "The Paleto Score", Franklin takes a boat around to Paleto Bay for the getaway. Even though you never control the boat as Franklin (that getaway plan is blown), he still controls a boat at at least one point. Not to mention the jetski getaway with Lamarr and Trevor. Why should it make sense? it's a game! actually you can activate it from a very high height before jumping and jump off. i did it once on a blimp before i did the mission "minor turbulance" and i didnt have a parachute so i used the ability and survived. and micheal can activate his ability at all times exept when in vehicles and a few more exeptions. and some GAMES like GTA 5 are supposed to be realistic. and not make vehicles like "The Machine gun mounted zebra" Man. Some games are supposed to make sense. Realism isnt what makes a game good, but some games focus on that a bit, like GTA 5.
