EQUIN0X Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I started a new game yesterday and I'm about midway through, and for some reason I can't find the Vapid Dominator (my favorite car in-game) anywhere. I've gone literally all over the entire map and it never spawns anywhere, but it did on my last save. Has this been happening to anyone else? I've played it for about 2 hours today and it's still nowhere to be found. Every other car seems to spawn though. Did it just vanish? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But in my game (Before I used a Save Editor to obtain the Dominator spawn on top of a helipad and save there) the Dominator would NEVER spawn. Literally, one day I was at the Marina Dock getting boats to store for the characters. I came out and there was my FIRST EVER Dominator I've seen in this game since September. Imo, the Dominator is just very rare. Cars seem to spawn differently due to patches, online vs single player, and your percentage in the game, imo. I've been 100% since October, and never see the Dominator until that very day. I'm also using Patch 1.08, 1.09 seems to be giving trouble, but it's nothing like how bad 1.07 was, lol... Now on my second save, I haven't seen it yet. Ever. I've seriously gone all over the entire map and driven every type of car (mostly muscle, hoping it'll spawn) and it just never appears. I don't know what's going on but it's pissing me off not being able to get my favorite car in the game. Is anyone else having issues like this? But I ALWAYS see Phoenix, Vigero, Buccaneer. Everyone talks about how hard the Phoenix is, but this spawns all over Los Santos for me how your Dominator was. Not sure how the spawns work. Edit: It also depends on what you literally own. Cars seem to spawn different as well with moving your cars around. I took Franklin's Carbonizzare and Banshee to his Safehouse Garage, and moved his Infernus and Bullet to the four car garage. It's not spawning every time I turn it on now, and I just checked my original first save, and now it's not spawning there either! I've bought a few muscle cars for my garages too, Dominator still hasn't spawned. It must be some kind of glitch because I haven't seen it in weeks. People are having problems with car spawns it seems on 1.09. Go check the Troubleshooting section of the forum, there is a big topic about it. Lethal Vaccine Posted February 1, 2014 Share Posted February 1, 2014 That's how I felt at a time, until I realized even OTHER Muscle Cars, and other cars in other classifications also were not spawning. I am sure you don't see EVERY CAR spawning in the entire game. I also right now get a sh*tload of cars to spawn of all different classes, and they DO change up a lot too, but it's never the Dominator, Gauntlet, or Ruiner. I also never see the Benefactor Schwartzer either, but almost every other Sports Car I do see...You really gotta think about it. What I mean is, every type of vehicle and it's various cars seem to spawn moderately around the map, even some rare cars, but never the Dominator. When before, it was common as hell to see, especially around Los Santos. I've tried everything from buying muscle cars, driving them around, and going all over the map. You also can't buy the Dominator and there's no cheat code to spawn it. So I don't know what to do. Maybe the game just hates me or something. This tool lets you spawn ANYTHING even North Yankton vehicles, and they ALL save in Single Player. I got the Dominator that way since I couldn't get it to spawn either. Even driving the Dominator I own, I rarely see other Dominators OR Gauntlet or Ruiner. Muscle Cars seem hard to make spawn in my game, too, especially Ruiner, Dominator, Gauntlet. The editor is used on your Computer. You take your save from Xbox or PS3 and put it onto a USB and edit on your computer. When done, you take the edited save back to your PS3/Xbox and put it back on, when you load up, you'll have whatever you edited. It's quite easy. Yeah, I am on Patch 1.08 and I DID see Dominators spawning. Even before I got the save editor to obtain one on Franklin's helipad. BUT since September, not until 2 weeks ago did I actually find the Dominator spawning, it was in a parking lot too, never would I have seen it driving on road, it was parked near one of the helicopter parachute missions at the Marina Dock when I was getting boats for each character. Not sure why Patch 1.07 and 1.09 effected the cars spawning badly, 1.08 is good, imo, same as 1.06 and below... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Huh, so it's not just mine. Must be a random thing then. I'm also noticing every car is the same now. I'll get in a jeep or something, and all of a sudden that's every vehicle. True in my game too. I own a Fusilade, though. Lucky when I found it, it was my first time ever, and I don't see it anymore. But I have one fully modded a saved, luckily. I DO see the Buccaneer everyday I play, but NONE of the other mentioned cars. I see the Vigero occasionally, too, but nothing else in this list. I saw Patriot ONCE, as well, never again. It's easy to use. Very cool since you can get a Titan to store in Trevor's helipad. You can put cars on helipads, or in hangers, etc. You CAN get North Yankton vehicles and store them, you can get the Stinger GT in SP, AND the Annihilator helicopter. I mean, it's surely worth it. I am assume the ones who are not using it don't know about it or are not great with computers and their Xbox or PS3 and refuse to bother with it. Well worth it though. I replaced it with a Police Riot so when I die with the Riot, it'll respawn on the helipad where my Dominator was. Too much wheel spin with all muscle cars for me to like them, so I don't need it afterall. XB36 Hazard Save Editor - Tons of tutorials on Youtube. It's very simple. autotheftgrand Posted February 3, 2014 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Dominator is by far the rarest car in my game, plus it's one of my favourites which is a bitch! There's only one way to obtain it for definate, which is escaping in it at the end of the 'wrap up mission'. I won't update anymore, lol When I saw it, I honestly couldn't believe my eyes, lol and then the next day I obtained it and modified it with a Save Editor. I have seen all of the cars mentioned above driving through Los Santos and Blaine County, though I will mention that, The Mammoth Patriot is probably the rarest in my game. But then there's that glitch where every time you replay a mission, the car disappears. Now it seems to be the only car that's missing. I've seen just about every muscle car in the game except the Dominator. It's weird. I wonder if it's like a cycle, where certain cars spawn and others don't, because others have said they have their own cars they don't see anymore. EQUIN0X Posted February 5, 2014 Author Share Posted February 5, 2014 Whoa, I just found a Dominator randomly driving down a road, so I jacked it and quickly drove it to my garage and saved (because my 360 is freezing up constantly lately, literally can't play for 10 minutes sometimes without it freezing). But here's the weird part. I drove it for about 5-6 minutes, and did not see another one. They didn't spawn even as I was driving it, like other cars do. Every other car I get it in, they immediately appear more often, just everywhere like in every GTA game. It's pretty common for this nonsense to happen in GTA V... I got rid of it a couple days ago, anyways. I can get it and anything else I want, including North Yankton vehicles anytime I want, so I don't really care to have it. The wheel slip/spin is annoying. You're going at a high speed, make a slight turn maybe 40-60 degrees, you'll start sliding 90 degrees or more. Not a fan. I rather cars that stick to the actual road instead of sliding all over the place. I used to own the Sabre Turbo, Rat Loader, and Vigero, all of them were the same, hence not owning any Muscle Cars in GTA V. Don't like them. I like the Ruiner in GTA IV, though, and the Sabre GT. player999 Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 There seems to be no real system in the way cars spawn. I suppose this has become worse since patch 09, but I´m not sure. Once I drove a Jeep and suddenly all cars on the street where Jeeps. On the other side, I stole a Voltic and suddenly on my way back the streets were full of super-sportscars like Infernus so it was hard to decide which car to take home. Once I needed a motorcycle (any was good) to drive throught the subway-tunnels (and stairs), but none on the streets for 15 min or so.
