GP Los Ridiculoso: New title is quite strange?

It's a great mc race really loving it! Very original road choice and great finish/start. Great propping with good guidance.
Only thing is cp's bothered me as i know thats your cup of tea these are my notes from the 2nd lap. Thought the same in the third. Or you need to spread them more. But in total I think it can do with way less imo. (unless you changed some since i played it (think it's been two days ago))

Had an edit and removed 3 of the CPs in areas you suggested. Taking any more out would've altered the direction on others, opened up room for confusion or disrupted the flow of the track imo.

Thanks for your input.

Had a replay yesterday.

Dont know which exact cp's changed but it felt really good. It's somehow a lot better now or maybe I get to know the track. Love it when you get that hard turn right (not flying into the dirt). We should race this together sometime.
Anyhow your race really inspired me to make a motoGP myself and I'm quite proud if it,... Would love to hear some opinions.
Pillbox Hill MotoGP
It's a double-lap GP race with choice between multiple roads. Think it really works out well. 40 seconds per lap.

Thanks Stronk, for helping to improve it too. I have made another MotoGP as well now, based off one of my sig tracks. Zero internet atm tho so will have to post it another time.

Hey deejayb, played your crazy Sanchez list the other day.

1. I enjoyed the first race, it's very original and a good build. Though this isn't for everyone,...
2. This didn't appeal to me at all. The first part of the crossing the lake was bad. Once you reach the second part it's ok. The first ones need to be closer.
3. The zigzag part wasn't too good as they are too close imo. The stair part too,... Not my thing and bad propping
4. Again quite easy and a little boring
5. Well constructed! Real fun!
6. Liked it. Maybe put traffic off? Liked the part on the beach a lot good propping there!
7. Replace trigger location? Fun race, though dislike the u-turn. Maybe put some warnings there?
8. Best one in the list!! Really liked it! Good propping and good cp's
9. Ok,.... Good work on the structure but not my thing
10. Last one is also ok.
My advice for your playlist is to make it into 2 playlists of four races. And maybe make sure they are all sanchez only (as some of them aren't). Maybe get rid of the cross the lake one, it doesn't fit the list and people will leave the list for that one. And maybe pull one more out so it's 4 - 4. They all could use some more tweaking too imo.
Racing yours soon Cuz as it looks like my cup of tea! Though the link you posted didn't work so here is the good one: http://rsg.ms/RSTvQi

Thanks (I think) for the feedback Stronk.

In race 2, having the start easier would mean practically no failures, therefore it would be a standard track, not extreme at all. Wouldn't fit into the idea of the playlist if any of the tracks were simple, so please excuse me choosing to ignore everything you said. Having played a few of your own races I find it very easy to ignore your advice. ;o)

Edit: The one piece of advice I did pick up on was the 'not all restricted to Sanchez' part - which has been on my 'to do' list for a while, so genuine thanks for the reminder.

Reading my post some parts might sound sarcastic or quite rude but there is no offense in it. And I did like it even though my feedback is short and quite straightforward. Apologies for that.

And it's ok that you ignore my advice though I think some truth is in it if you like more people to play your list,...

Anyway I'm glad I raced it and it's ok if you think my reviewing is disgardable if you dislike my races. Must say I've evolved myself since the beginning of the judging topic. As a lot of races truly inspire and make you see what doesn't work or works. So all my races are still work in progress and for example by now I think for example Down Blaine County Drain sucks, so no hard feelings.

EDIT: Forgot to mention something about your cross the lake race: Crossing the lake on jumps is quite extreme already imo and had plenty of failures there even on the second part. So 'bad' jump placement doesn't really make it more difficult as it doesn't seem like it's intended (meaning the gap between two jumps at the start).

Stronktank, thanks for doing this. I tried this playlist a couple of months ago and quit without finishing the first race. I guess it was too challenging for me.

Reading your feedback got me curious to give it another try, and I just completed the whole playlist. I've gotten a lot better in the past couple of months, and none of the races in the playlist are too challenging for me now. It was refreshing to not enjoy them on their own merits.

While positivity is generally appreciated, having played the entire playlist, I find it very easy to ignore what praise you offered. Though it was charitable of you to provide an opportunity for the creator to demonstrate how well he accepts constructive criticism.

To be fair Stronk, it was your DBCD race I had in mind, which I believe I reviewed, and approved, in the approved races thread. It had it's good points, it had it's bad points, but I thought I'd best not be too critical to a fellow judge for my first review. Another judge thanked me for approving it, because it meant they didnt have to. And we are all getting better/more advance/more used to utilising the creator and making better races. This, however, ISN'T a review thread, and I never put the playlist up for anyones approval/review, just more a 'try this, it's quite tough, enjoy it if you do, or rage if you don't'.

The single gap at water jump 6 (maybe 7) IS deliberate. It would suck if the gap was right at the end, so I made the only tough bit early, but not so early that everyone respawns over and over at the same point.

Constructive criticism is appreciated in it's correct place. Most of these races were created many months ago. They are as they will remain. I have no intention of revisiting them. Thanks for the plays though, and thanks for reminding me about restrictions on a few of them.

Neal Fargo: Thanks. I aim to displease random nomarks like you. Keep up the rage. LOL

Don't think you've got any authority to tell the original poster what the thread is or isn't for. Stronktank and others have been giving, and politely receiving, feedback since the beginning, well before you posted to the thread. You're the only one in the thread that seems particularly upset.

Added them both to my liked MC races charlie. Great ones!

Got two new ones. One of them still needs some feedback as I'm not sure if the two jumps work for everyone: MC my v-illah

And one of my better offroad mc races: Under Pressure

Making a "Grumpy old man in traffic" playlist (need a descent name) and this is the second of three (first is F#$! Parking Tickets): Under F#$*! Construction?

MC my v-illah: I like the second jump but not the first.

Under Pressure: Added this to my MX playlist that I keep for my friend that likes to race Sanchezes. Finish line comes sooner than I'd expect.

Under F#$*! Construction?: Props on the freeway are unnecessary, which I usually don't point out anymore, but these ones didn't draw in until I slammed into them while taking that turn.

Thanks for trying them.

MC my v-illah: Will probably re-route so the main thing is the jump over the villa. Nothing else that could be noted?

Under Pressure: The reason is that I like it as it stands but will try to find a way to make it longer and with a better finish line.

Under construction: The race is themed so you have to re-route because of the 'propped constructions'. Not sure which one you are talking about.

Sorry posting from mobile, so keeping it brief.

I wouldn't necessarily change any of them until you get more feedback. I'm just a single data point.

Under Pressure doesn't need to be longer if it's how you like it.

I forgot about the theme for Under Construction. Given issues with draw distance, I guess I'd recommend setting the checkpoint further back from the obstacles, or put a warning sign in advance of the checkpoint.

Sorry it's hard to ID the cp on this device. It's the one heading South on the freeway, where you take a sharp turn east off the road.

Updated all my races.

Realigned most checkpoints and left bad parts out. (for example the first jump on MC my vill-ah)

Also looking for feedback on this one:

Had to update all the links here as well. Just one is missing,...

And before I forget I've got this fast downhill offroader that needs some feedback as most people don't find the cones up the hill,...

Hi Stronk,

I played over the weekend and really enjoyed (my type of race !) all CP's were spot on, the only changes I would make would be a little more visual props for the hard turns into the alley's (they all were obvious to me) but I noticed that the 5 others I had in game also missed 1 or 2 turnings :)

All in all a great race mate :)

Thanks a lot for trying it!

I've made some serious changes as for example the jump with the gas tank behind it and the part to go to the garages (under the road) weren't smooth corners so I've cut those off. Guess the best parts remain imo. Thanks again.

Anyway got another one.

Dendrochronology

Lap race circling inward like tree rings. The first ring being very wide and the last being very narrow. Think it worked out quite well actually. Though it has two turns that I had lots of problems with, you'll notice I guess.

Made some major changes to Under Pressure. It has actually become my first 68 cp race. I'm glad I have one myself to see it is possible. As I've been hating them for quite a bit. But then again most of them actually are bad. First was 67 but in the end found one place where it could use one more cp.

And thanks for the feedback Neal. It was too short. And it's much better now. So whenever you find the time for some more feedback, that would be great.

I've been quite busy with things I dislike actually. Finding a way to make them good (from my perspective of course). For example I've played so many bad races in the davis quartz I wanted to see if I could make something that works. And quite proud of it too. It's exactly my cup of tea (very short lapping .62 miles). Hardstone Curvings

The new Under Pressure is a significant improvement. I enjoyed Hardstone Curvings as well. I try out most of your races as you publish them, and I would say these are two of the best you have published lately.

I just made an interesting motorcycle race that might appeal, it's unusual. I tried to avoid roads where possible without being annoying about it.

I just made a race with the inverse concept and called it Lateralus. Thought I was clever but you got me by a couple days. Not a motorcycle race though. Could be, but not exclusively.

I've been encountering paired ramps in a number of your recent creations. Since the creator doesn't provide a way to line them up perfectly, I'm finding that occasionally the small misalignment between ramps grabs my tires, usually causing a crash. I'd recommend not doubling up the ramps as often, or if you don't think one ramp is enough, maybe even space them apart with a prop in between, so at least the danger of hitting the middle would be obvious.

Seems like you posted the wrong links, budcat but here they are: Lateralus, Askew

Checking them out tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Taking that as a big compliment Neal! Thanks. By the way, from the whole pack I published the other day, went to my 'saved' list and was actually full of nearly finished races so made them much better and published most I found worthy. Here they are:

Hybrid Horses - Technical motorcycle race locked to the Akuma with some massive and less massive jumps. Lots of offroad too. Quite hard.

Castles Made Of Sand - Offroad motorcycling with some natural jumps. Quite big laps. Lots of beach, lots of mountain.

Voodoo Bikers - Technical short motorcycle lapping with some good jumps. And a 'voodoo people' part through some parking poles.

The Tube. - Short offroad lapping. Water, mountain, stones, mud, grass,...

Zig Zag - Some zigzaggin' on the same ground as 'The Tube' but even shorter I guess. The trick is to use the trees to go around. I guess. 0.62 miles.

DTD MC - Another experiment for a recreation of a motorcycle Down The Drain race, but the lenght just didn't do it (think it was 0.52) but do think it works with the double lap too. This isn't one I'm that proud of, more seeing it as a WIP/experiment...

High Voltage! - Quite long ptp following the electricity line out of the city.

Also having a look at those close spaced ramps. Guess it's because of the small ground differences.
