Gooner, Swedishwolf and nRichmentz, all got their first website awards, finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the week 32 crew shooting range challenge, despite being paired up with below average shooting partners.

Events In The Planning Stages

Lann3fors has been working on an event for the PS4 creators of the crew, picking an area of the map and all focus on creating races, tdm's, etc.. in that area and then putting all in a playlist. It has quite the discussion going on and you can be a part of it by Clicking Here.

DocBrown has been doing an impromptu PS3 event off and on. Doc has a schedule that is a little off beat with the majority of the crew. Although the linked thread is the most recent impromptu, if you are on a timeframe that doesn't work for most crew events then you should keep an eye on the Doc. Click Here.

Our Weekly Segment Where We Meet The Person Behind The Controller

1. What's your first name and where are you from ?

A: Phill. From Leeds in Old England

2. When and where are you likely to be found in GTAO ?

A: Usually in the creator but recently spending a lot of time in free roam looking for good camera angles.

3. Answer quickly : First IRL job ? First IRL car ? Favorite meal? Married ? Kids ?

A: Packer at a Pickle factory, White Ford Fiesta, Rare steak and chips, Single and have a 6 year old son

4. What are your hobbies outside of GTAO ?

A: Is there life outside of GTAO?

I'm a massive F1 fan and am involved in running a fantasy league which take up most of my time during the season. Once the weather improves I'll usually be out on my bike, cycling around the canals of Yorkshire.

I'm also a collector of Transformers, I have a lot of the toys, comics, films, tv shows and will soon have a new transformers tattoo.

5. Favourite video game as a kid ?

A: Pre-console has to be Cannon Fodder on the Amiga. Loved Gran Turismo ever since the original game

6. Name something about you that the crew doesn’t know.

A: The international and BBC radio 1 DJ Judge Jules has seen me naked.

7. Do you believe in aliens ?

A: Don't believe unfortunately, too much of a scientist. The events that had to take place in order for life to happen on this planet were so improbable that the chances of it happening on another planet are infinitesimal. I love science fiction though.

8. You just got a superpower! What is it ?

A: The ability to go back in time 5 seconds. Great for preventing foot in mouth moments and awkward social encounters.

9. If the crew were to visit you, where would you take them to experience your culture ?

A: I would take them on a canal barge cruise going from mill town to mining village showing them the areas where the industrial revolution was born. In case you think that's too educational we'd stop off in every pub on the way and I'll introduce everyone to some proper ale.

10. Any advice for new crew members looking to fit in ?

A: Best advice is to join in as many playlists as possible. I think I played every EU session in my vetting period. Everyone became familiar with who I was and soon learned that I was an easy target in deathmatches.

Dani is right on target here. It's not about testing you in some way. The members of this crew chat together and like to know a bit about each other just to facilitate that chat. It's not about creating some secret brotherhood; it's just about getting people together and having a laugh. Everyone's pretty relaxed about the game and I'm sure that we all want to make sure that new members can join in the fun too.

 

No one is being unpleasant here. We just all want to make sure that we all get along and that you can have fun with the crew too.

There are several quality crews to choose from in the game, I think you will find most of those have certain requirements to get in. Most that do not will get you crew killed or is simply an inactive crew that does little as a crew, not in all cases but most.

 

If you are looking for a crew to join without any requirements I believe IGN and MP3 are accepting new members.
