I'm looking for some mature people to play GTA Online with, I'm not one for spending all my time on forums, I just want to play with people who aren't complete tossers or screaming children, I have enough of that in real life. Can anyone let me know if you lot are still playing on PS3? If I have to join your forums and tell you all about my life then that's fine, just let me know; I could use it as therapy, I suppose.

HAPPY CREW YEAR!!!!

January 28th marks the 1 year anniversary for XDBX, and to celebrate we will be using the original crew emblem, color, and website banner. Also if you wish pick up a Cheetah as it was the unofficial crew car, and keep your eyes on the site for events dedicated to this crew milestone.

The crew is getting bigger, partly because of everything we ate over the festive period, but mainly because of the influx of new players on ps4 (did Santa bring you one?).

So, to the new folks.....get involved by joining eventsand posting in our forums. To the old folks.....remember to make notes on their profiles to help with their vetting.

There's still plenty do on ps3, with regular eventsand new crew created stuff to amuse/amaze/annoy you.

Ps4 creations are constantly being added too....(Remember to leave feedback for creators, it really does help them perfect their work)

Did you know...?

There's a free Playstation App available for Android and iOS devices, it has some handy features like being able to use your device to enter text (great for in-game messages and creator descriptions)

Fun crew fact....

Justhatched created the crew website on March 1st 2014, of the 35 that joined the site in the first week, an impressive 26 are still here! (The site address for that first week was hillbillyaeroworks.com, as the website was originally set up for justhatched's hobbyin July 2013)

Ten things we didn't know last week

1- ScottyB88 theorisedthat the psn outage was caused by the ultra rare occurrence of Davidcore89 losing a race (so rare, even Xbox live felt the effects)

2- We now know dodge is a pussy, thanks to a rival crew 'leader' (don't kids say the funniest things)

3- The tattooed xDBx hunxcalendar moves a few steps closer to being an actual thing. (Pb76 only needs a tattoo and a some hunkiness to be 'Mr. July')

4- Danielle had a birthday(I was 22 when I was her age too!)

5- Ronny is making a movie. He wants us to record videos, make the soundtrack and the opening titles/end credits.....bring him drinks, call him Mr.Director.........

(just messin' Ronny)

6- BustyRose now owns a ps4, this means half of all consoles ever sold in the US are in the 'BustyHatched' household.

7- Also transferringto ps4 this week are ScottyB88, Maha and G37 (dem HD suits tho....)

8- Kristen beat DC in a race(even gods have to take a piss......) (he still finished second)

9- Wait a minute........Davidcore lost TWICE.....this WEEK?!?!.........IT'S THE APOCALYPSE!!!!!!!!! (or possibly a bladder infection)

10- and finally...... The word plethorahas only been used twice on this site....

A Reminder About RSVP's On The Website:

- With the influx of new members and the crew growing in size generally, it's more important than ever that you RSVP in good time if you would like to attend an event. In the past it has always been ok just to turn up at the last minute and usually bag a place but this is becoming increasingly difficult to do. In the last week alone we have had RSVP numbers of 17 & 18 when there are only 16 places available!

On the same note, please only RSVP if you intend to be there, if you subsequently find you are unable to attend you can always un-RSVP by clicking on the minus sign next to your name. This lets the host know that you will not be attending so they do not have to wait around for you and hold up the start for everyone else, it also frees up your spot for someone else to attend.

To RSVP simply check the calendar for any event that you would like to attend, click on the event and there will be an 'I'm attending' button on the right hand side. You can either click this here or if you look to the bottom left of this page you will see a 'view event topic' hyperlink. This will take you direct to the event details page and you can also RSVP from here, again by clicking the 'I'm attending' button.

Our Weekly Segment Where We Meet The Person Behind The Controller

1. What's your first name and where are you from ?

A: My name is Paul and I live in South Wales UK.

2. What was your first IRL job ? First IRL car ?

A: First job was delivering tools for a local tool hire firm. They also hired cars and one sunny Sunday I decided to "borrow" a car to go for a drive. And that was the first time I got fired. :-) First car was a MK2 Ford Escort 1600 Sport. I owned it for about seven months till, being a young idiot, I rolled it and wrote it off.

3. What is your favorite meal ?

A: There can't be one favourite, I love my grub. Steak. Mexican. Pizza. Donner Kebabs. Whatever really, if it's bad for me I loves it!!!

4. Married ? Kids ?

A: Nope. Nope.

5. When and where are you likely to be found in GTAO ?

A: Normally in a playlist having a laugh with all the nutjobs in this crew. Doing missions badly, drunkenly wandering about on my Sanchez or being killed by other players over and over...

6. What are your hobbies outside of GTAO ?

A: Mountain biking and Drinking.

7. If you could add a car and weapon to GTAO, what would they be ?

A: I'd like to see a full blown, screaming rally car like a Focus WRC. Or maybe one of the mental Group B cars from the eighties like the Audi Quattro, Lancia Delta or Peugeot 205 T16. Weapon, dunno really, think we are pretty covered when it comes to weapons.

8. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why ?

A: Somewhere Alpine for the mountains and amazing mountain biking. Anywhere with proper mountains really.

9. If the crew were to visit you, where would you take them to experience your culture ?

A: Not really a lot of culture round these parts. Drinking is probably the main culture so off to the pub!!! :-)

10. Any advice for new crew members looking to fit in ?

A: Get stuck in and have fun. Lots of fun. :-D

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS!

I am 1 of 2 Australian members in the crew and we are looking to expand the Australian presence. Currently we have events (playlists) almost everyday on both PS3 and PS4 in European and North American timezones.

Very soon there will be playlists based in the Australian (Sydney) Timezone on ps4. (5-7pm AEST / 6-8am GMT during the weekdays)

Domestic battery is a very active crew for mature gamers. We are a tight crew that play together regularly. During our playlists we play a variety of crew created content and rockstar content including races, death matches and captures. There are always members on who are willing to play missions or job hop or just muck around when playlists aren't running. If you like to crate races or deathmatches We support and encourage all our members by providing feedback to all our crews creations and by playing their races/deathmatches and captures.

If you're sick of playing with screaming kids and playing poorly created max Rp and max $$ deathmatches and races, then you should check out the website and post an introduction.

One of these facts about Ronny's homeland is NOT true. Is it.....

A- "Odd" and "Even" are popular boys names.

B- There's a town called "Hell".

C- It has the lowest price per litre of petrol (gasoline) in the world.

D- Norwegians pay half tax in November, so everyone has more money for Christmas.

Ten things we didn't know last week

1- Is it a bird?.....Is it a plane?......yes, it's a plane...flown at high velocity by Jesse to the top of the non-contact leaderboards of the R* created air race "in the wings", beating Justhatched's time by a mere six thousandths of a second. (Also in the top 10 are DC89, ScottyB88 and Catrone3.)

2- "King of the Projects" Fido joined the 1000 post club (at least 750 of those posts were ever-faster crew challenge lap times)

3- "King of everything else" Davidcore89 won 1500 races and 800 DMs (I think that's in total, but it could realistically be just this week)

4- To make their controllers more comfortable to use, Skip_rat modded his dualshock 4 and Kortniechan his dualshock 3 (like a pair of mad scientists, probably laughing maniacally as they worked)

5- G37 now has over 1000 DM wins to his name(s), killing over 21000 players in the process. I like to think we all helped and now he's reached this milestone we can all stop going easy on him in DMs.

6- CHECK OUT HIS NUTS!....Squirrel_Army became the latest to compile his jobs in the creators forum. 7- We discovered we have a crew full of crash test dummies, sharing their tales of injuries they've received. (Including Vanweeeezy's chilling account of the horrific injury he suffered)

8- Ronny's movie is (almost) done and we're all invited to the red carpet premiere!! (Who's brave enough to tell Dani she has to wear a posh frock?)

9- Getting old this week were Alchemist3321 , LN-MLB and PapOiteE, I hope your birthdays were full of scandal and debauchery (or at least tea and cake)

10- .....and finally, the word 'wizard' has been used twice on the site so far

1. What's your first name and where are you from ?

A: Mahavir. Born in Brazil, but living in Germany since 2013.

2. When and where are you likely to be found in GTAO ?

A: I am usually online in the evening GMT+1 joining crew events. When not, I come online in random hours and drive around Paleto Bay, visit the beach and sunbathe.

3: Answer quickly : first IRL job ? First IRL car ? Favorite meal ? Married ? Kids ?

A: My first proper job was at the reception of my father's tattoo studio. First car was one of those hot wheels (I don't have license yet ). Meal: Açai with banana and granola. Married, no kids.

4. What are your hobbies outside of GTAO ?

A: Play guitar, surf and pretend to be a cat.

5. Favourite game as a kid ?

A: Alex Kidd in Miracle World

6. Name something about you the crew doesn't know ?

A: I have an arrow in the knee

7. Do you believe in aliens ?

A: Aren't we all Aliens?

8. You just got a superpower! What is it ?

A: Teleporting

9. If the crew were to visit you, where would you take them to experience your culture ?

A: In Brazil I would definitely take you to spend a day at the beach. Eat some seafood, drink coconut water, swim and enjoy the sunshine. Here in Hamburg, a walk by the river Elbe would be a good choice.

10. Any advice for new crew members looking to fit in ?

A: Don't be shy. Try to be active in the forum. Don't challenge DC in races or DMs, or captures, or arm wrestling... Actually, don't stare at DC at all.

THE NEWS IN TEN

1. Justhatched revealed himself to be a Lady Gaga fan, posting a video wearing his favourite t-shirt. Look out for his next video, where he will be wearing a bandana made from bacon.

2. Lady HatchHatch was victorious in the Full Throttle Racing Championships on ps3. Let's give him a round of applause (He lives for the applause, applause, applause.....

He lives for the applause-plause, lives for the applause-plause)

3. Rah rah, ah ah ah..... Roma, roma ma......Gaga, ooh la la.....Justhatched also triumphed in the xDBx darts tournament, beating Seymour (a massive Katy Perry fan?) in the final.

4. Jesse denied xDBx's own queen of pop in the ps4 Full Throttle Racing Championship though, with Justhatched losing an air race metres from the finish after slamming into a huge tower like a wrecking ball...........(what?...wait, that's not Gaga)

5. All joking aside, Justhatched must've been Gaga when he announced (with a poker face), a 20 mile race event that begins with you getting out of your car and popping all of your tyres!

6. Justhatched finished off his busy week with a world record on Rockstar's air-race 'over the hill', which brings us nicely to.........

7. Xyon celebrated a milestone birthday. There was no cake with candles to blow out, there was however explosives and 40 noose officers to blow up (PB's top tip: always release live grenades)

8. Squirrel Army is making a Domestic Battery recruitment video. He's set up a group where you can offer suggestions or help, contribute clips and see how the video is progressing (pretty damn good so far!)

9. Lann3 (with some help from Scottyb88) came up with a cracking idea for creators (old and new)..........A monthly playlist made up of jobs based around a theme and/or area, each creator will choose one of the job types from the list and create something which fits the theme.

10. And finally...........the word "coprolalia" has never been used on the site. Until now.

Crew Challenge and Planning Events

This weeks crew challenge is a team based event taking place in the Ammunation Shooting Range where and you partner will use the Heavy Pistol, Assault Shotgun and Carbine Rifle at Random Targets to try for a max combined score. It's not a hard challenge and even if you do not win it can be fun trying and good shooting practice as well. Known current teams are BustyRose/Wraignbow, JustHatched/Snakenacho, Beez/ErnYoung, Jesse/Adsyfindlay, Dodge/Ninja, Iriekine/Seymor, Gooner/Vishesh. Sorry if I missed any other teams and if you are not on a team there is some crew looking for partners in the contest thread which can be found by Clicking Here.

Events In The Planning Stages

BustyRose is planning a PS4 racing event for those members whom have less then 75 total racing wins (as shown on Social Club stats). She is planning this in an effort to assist those members who find winning against the "seasoned" crew members difficult. Also providing a way to boost new members confidence level, get a few race wins without having to "boost" them and for overall fun. If you would like to see the status of the planning or want to post you intention to take part please check the planning thread by Clicking Here.

JustHatched is working on a Championship racing event for PS4 using the Rally Race mode. This will be a multi platform/multi timezone event where the lowest overall time wins. Perhaps your racing skills aren't the best but you have top notch navigation skills? Then this may be your chance to gain a Championship victory. Check the planning thread by Clicking Here and find your partner for the event.

Markt112 has posted a planning thread for an EU timed PS3 playlist for Mondays featuring about 10 jobs. He is looking to see if there is enough interest to carry on with this event, if you are interested please post it by Clicking Here.

Sonomiggo has an Offroad playlist in the planning process with Sundays looking to be the day to run it on PS3. This should be some good dirty fun and you should check out the planning thread by Clicking Here.

Squirrel Army is looking for PS4 recruits for an EU version of the Military Freeroam Takeover, this will be an great time destroying randoms in a public lobby using team based tactics and heavy equipment. If you have what it take to drive a tank, fly a lazer or buzzard, or shoot from a buzzard then you should post you interest by Clicking Here.
