oh then there must be a huge difference in time zone, lol. I'll be on at 1:00pm pacific if thats fine, or anytime on friday.

Umm, arent there already two threads for this? One for xbx and one for ps3? Arent people giving away cars there? Isnt 'giving away' the same as 'duplicating'? Doesnt that defeat the purpose of this thread? Those unhelpful, unnecessary, but way more active threads where people regularly post 'dupe session open' or 'does anyone have this car?' or 'heres whats in my garage, anyone want anything?' Since those threads are more active, wouldnt make MORE sense to ask for something in there?

 

Why have one thread for giveaways, and one for requests/dupes? Wouldnt it be better and make more sense to have them together? Why would i accept a car when i dont know what im getting? How do you give away your vechiles?

You need a car insured in your garage that you don.t care losing it, that car will become the car you get from the other person.

 

Person that gives : puts the to-be-given car right in front of your garage with driver seat pointing to you. Vehicle access to everyone. That person stays in the car, press Start - Online - Jobs - Any deathmatch, preferably close to the garage. Sends an invite to the player that wants to give the car to. Waits for message with "done"

 

Person that takes : gets in the car that wants to be replaced, waits for job invite, and on job confirmation screen ("are you sure" or smth cant remember), press R2/RT (accel.) and X/A in the same time. You will have to hear the garage opening on the background and also, the job has to start. Job menu appears, asap you quit the job and you run towards the car and get in as fast as possible. Voilla, car's yours. It will have to glitch and kick you from the car and a pv icon will appear on the map.
