Is it wrong to kill players who are using shops?

Is this any different from hitting a random with a car while they are Running in the middle of the street?

Are you genuinely curious about this or are you just trying to revive the argument? Because I think you already know the answer to your own question judging from other peoples' points of view in this topic.

I would genuinely be interested in knowing why people think one's ok and not the other.

Because people being ran over have the opportunity to shoot back or get out of the way. Personally I never run people over, but I guess if that's how you get your kicks...

No. Just park a vehicle in front of the doors and there's your entertainment for the next 15 mins :^:

Make sure it's an adder so if they decide to blow it up it will cost them $12500.

I never carry more then $500 on me. So doing that to me will cost you $12000.

Bottom line. Anyone who kills anyone NOT actually playing is tard. And GTA O is filled with tards.

Erm.. No? Unless you have $0 in your bank account aswell? Because that's where the insurance payment comes from.

Erm....?

If i put all my cash on my ALT i pay NOTHING. Thats just fact. I've been doing that since October.

I don't have time for bullsh*t. Anyone who sticks their piece of sh*t Adder or Entity in my face gets it blown up and stuck with the insurance tab.

I haven't paid more then $3000 for insurance since i started putting my cash on my ALT. Infact even if i do have cash il just blow it on nothing just to make sure THEY pay it all.

If I'm driving at top speed and I see someone crossing the road, I just can't resist.

i do it all the time so for me is not wrong hahaha

thats why you should always use passive mode while inside the shop and check you car for possible stickys.

I expect it.

I usually do all my purchasing of clothes in crew session.

I change clothes in apartment.

I buy ammo in job lobbies.

The rare occassion where I was caught shopping for tattoos or something and killed in the store my out loud thought to myself was "what a dick". So I guess that means I consider it a dick move.

Typically nowadays I am in passive mode when I intend to do passive things.

Killing or attempting to kill unarmed, passive, or otherwise unaware players just generally comes off as douschbaggery to me.

Have you ever been killed in this game and thought 'well what a charming fellow' ?

Yes, it is, in-fact, it's wrong to kill any player who isn't doing anything wrong to you but minding his own business.

So f*ck off please.

I hate people like you and you are ruining my fun and faith in the community of this game. That of which I have none.

TeammateHelper

I'd commend someone if he sniped me out of my car from far away.

It's a good shot, considering I have never driven clean my entire racing career. Clean driving is for chumps.

No. That would be foolish. But I have had these responses...

Whoa where did that come from...dude nice shot.

Oh nice move, didnt expect that.

This guy doesnt give up...

Obviously he is better than me, time to go.

Etc etc...

Not all deaths are bad. It is intended that we fight it out. I respect players that do proper battles.

This...

In fact it seemed like they really tried to make it feel like killing people was not the desired tactic...it just was the result of the crimes (well unless your trevor). So you comit a crime sh*t happens but when you tool around town shopping or going to a club or whatever you rarely got messed with...even by the cops. Thats the kind of feel I picture for online but it simply will never happen. I am basically a Franklin player, and a large percentage of online is a totally methed up high as a kite dont give a flying f*ck Trevor.

LBxFinalDeath

Wrong as in something you should be punished for (as in banned etc)? No.

Is it something you should be ashamed for doing and something you deserve to be trash talked for and hounded down for the rest of the session until you rage quit or go into passive mode and hide in your apartment? Yes.

Sorry, but the way I read that made it sound like an opinion rather than fact. Can you link me to the paragraph or sentence in the user manual that explains that part? I must have missed it.

i actually prefer to play secruity for them and wait outside the shop to pop anyone else coming to kill them. although 9/10 times they come out of the store and think im there for them and kill me.

this weekend it worked well for me though. kept a guy safe in ammu-nation and took out a would be sticky bomb. dude came outta the shop, gave each other a salute and he drove off.

magical.

I'd have killed you first, killed the c*ck in the shop, spawn killed you, spawn killed him, then gone to my ambush site and wait for the revenge attacks until you rage quit. Edited by watchclock

My game didnt come with a manual but my auto aim lines up nicely on your chest...not much more encouragement needed there.

All im saying is when I am active I am active and when I am passive I am passive and expect to be treated as such.

A discussion of the ethics of in-store killing in GTA:O...

Whenever I see someone using a shop on the map online I go and clip them. Am I a total bast*rd for doing this?

I am very careful when using shops and get what I need very quickly so I haven't been the victim of this. Some of my victims have gotten quite upset about the whole thing.

Kill them anyway you like. This is GTA everyone is fair game.

Meh.. GTA is a open world crime simulator.. Not an open world terrorist simulator.

I know some people have a hard time understanding this. But if it don't make dollars, it don't make sense. :D
