Is it wrong to kill players who are using shops?

Thanks for this thread, guys. I abandoned the sociopath's wet dream that is public FR months ago, and I sometimes wonder if I'm depriving myself of some experiences.

Then I read threads like this and I'm all good - expose myself to a community that is only interested in seeing if they can induce an apoplexy in everyone they meet? lol, no thanks.

And I don't always agree with everything Abyss says, but she's kind of hit it on the head a few times here - you people who go after Shoppers/Passives, you're targeting the defenseless and the explicit non-combatants - the fact that you're even trying says horrible things about you, not the least of which is that you are an infantile coward. Fight those that want to fight.

I think it's immersive the fact you can kill people that are in shops.

Guys doing his clothes shopping and suddenly brap brap brap, machine gun fire shatters the windows and plasters his face all over the wall lmao!

24/7 shop, guy buying his groceries, car rolls up, brap brap brap, fruit smashing everywhere, alcohol bottles exploding and most importantly, some poor guy's chest opening up as bullets tear him to pieces in front of the store clerk and other shoppers hahaha!

Killing in the shops is pure brilliance, you never know when you're gonna get whacked, it could be anywhere.

Exactly!

Clearly a troll at this point. Let's all pass by the bridge laughing and pointing shall we?

If you're letting your guard down constantly in FR, you are doing it wrong.

The only time I kill someone while shopping (did it just yesterday at Ammunation) is when they've picked a fight with me first and then run off for whatever reason, I'm not about to let some asshole get away that easily. As a rule though if they've done nothing to me then I don't mess with them, the worst I've done is try to drive-by honk at someone and accidentally run them over, I think the guy understood though because he didn't take it personally.

Is this The Guy?

This is Gta online. There is no wrong way to kill people in gta online.

I can see both sides to this argument.

1. Its a douche move to attack someone who can't defend themselves.

2. Its free roam, and everyone is your enemy.

3. Its hilarious to park your car at the entrance.

I don't hunt people in stores because I'm not that bored. I've gotten killed by c*nts while shopping, but that's my fault for not shopping in solo free roam.

People like you are the reason the community sucks and thinks it is okay to grief low levels and people minding their own business. No one should have to keep passive mode on 24/7. You support people that can't act their own age on a video game so you're no better. Period. There's nothing here to argue about.

And no, I'm not upset. People that have fun at the expense of others on a game just need told that they're trash.

:^:

Players who are inordinately proud of their large K/D ( equivalent to their small D/K ) are often frustrated, because the world has not acknowledged their greatness. So they come to forums, to post OP threads stating some aspect of their badassery, indirectly implying their superiority to the rest of us.

What's a K/D Ratio? Is it where they measure the proportions of your skull with callipers to determine if your a criminal?

It's that low number below your name in a lobby

Oh so that's what that number is. Mine says 56 is that good? Some guys I've seen have as much as 130 odd but I've also seen some as low as 5 or 6.

If I'm hunting out in the wild and see a bounty in a store, you bet they're going to catch a bullet. Or grenade.

Quite right, of course I forgot to mention bounties but if you've got a bounty on your head then you're fair game, wherever you are and regardless of what you're doing.

Forgot to add that too Bounties are fair game. Never turn down free easy cash and rp.

True, the bounty system is "the way the game is supposed to be played" version of shooting people without decorum or sport. I can't argue against that. The first time I was shot in a shop, I had an NPC bounty that I had forgotten about. :bored:

I find it stupid when people do this, just because it's GTA doesn't mean you have to kill everyone all the time

Although bounties might be an exception, but I don't really go after bounties, probably only when they attack me first for some reason, or it's my best friend, I just let them try to either get the money from their Bounty or the achievement if they want to get it

I don't really care, it never happens to me because I am not sh*t

After being shot by a crew mate for the last time I say all is fair.

I'd never shoot a friend or a crew mate, except in retaliation

I assume sportsmanship is a foreign concept to you?

There are no rules in GTAO, so sportsmanship doesn't come into it.

Yes. I see no list of morals or rules in GTA O. To me, it looks like fighting is built into it, so the rules are defined by the game mechanics. People trying to impose rules and morals are trying to gain an advantage. We all have the same tools to work with. Learn to use them, and learn to accept the game as it is. Deal with it and get better at free roam.

Is that still the amount a dead player could drop if they have a bunch of cash? I forgot about that. I would consider it a bonus on the bounty.

I'm almost always not a shoot-first person, but if I remember that I have a bounty and a white dot comes toward me, in that situation I do shoot first, to kill, because I figure they are surely hunting the bounty. :dontgetit:

We're not trying to gain an advantage, we're trying to be friendly. Is it so wrong to show a little consideration for ones fellow human beings? Of course it doesn't matter what I think or say; people will play how they will. I guess I'll just have to continue pitying them for their pettiness...

It depends how much you have in cash. I pick up $500 for 50% of kills

They only drop cash if they didn't bank it, right?

Can't believe people still don't use the bank from the phone and instead walk around with a lot of cash on hand. Smart move.
