It's still a usable weapon but you have to get it using mods. Same with the baseball and a few other things.

These were in GTA IV's files(proc_mail.wtd). Not quite sure why they were carried over, though, considering they weren't even used in GTA IV.

Damn, crazy finds on the last page. The Mo-capped music sounded interesting. And the cut highway towing missions. There really is too much stuff that was cut. However, there's always that small chance some of it could show up in the new versions.

 

I love speculating (lol). There could have just been not enough time to test it all and so (some of) it's been left over for the new versions. And hearing what T2 has said in recent weeks that they don't want it to be a cash in. That R* always pushes to improve and exceed expectations. Who knows what awaits.

Look at trevor, blue jacket and white shirt, you can find the exactaly same jacket on Trevor's trailer and you can buy the same clothes in Suburban but you cannot wear a jacket from the same color.

AFAIK that jacket is a SE reward.

henry_™, a LOT of what you're posting has already been found and posted before, please check the thread! Also, in all honesty, if something looks like a leftover from GTA IV, and no one has bothered to mention it, ...it's probably a leftover from GTA IV. You'll find a few more leftovers from Max Payne 3 and even some old test textures from San Andreas! But I didn't bother posting them because it's not interesting.

What bugs me most about this picture is that the sun is at an impossible angle here. It's never that low going over the mountain. I stood at this position and watched the sun, it never goes where it is in the picture.

I think there's whole science behind how those official screenshots are taken and composed. Everything in those shots has to sell the game to you.

That's why many of those are staged with specific lightning conditions, specific camera angle and with specific props. There's so much randomness in normal gameplay so developers have to "cheat" little with dev tools to get that perfect composition.

Just a few thoughts.

I agree with you, and it's really a shame that developers do that with a lot of games nowadays. I almost see it as false advertisement, since you can't normally achieve the conditions depicted in the screenshots.

i think you're right...that's not really a strangers and freaks mission it's the same guys i believe but unless Trevor is the one in the mariachi outfit with the gun it's not a strangers and freaks mission..

I found something interesting, while playing The Paleto Score in the moment of the shootout there's a moment that Franklin says "How many dudes they got in this private army?" But actually they are the normal militaries from Fort Zancudo and not the private (Merryweather). Was Merryweather replaced by Zancudo dudes in the Paleto Score and they forgot to cut Franklin's phrase?

To the left is the game and to the right is the official screenshot from Rockstar.

Notice that the fire is different in colour? I know, the colour is orange when you do not accelerate but in the screenshot the fire is coming out so I guess it is accelerating. But in the game, it's of purple-kinda colour. Correct me if I'm wrong

but I think the fire coming from the back of the Lazer was supposed to be orange but R* changed it to purple, so that we can differentiate to know whether the jet is accelerating or not (?)
