Are those the actual spawn locations of those trees? Where they were supposed to be during development before they were cut? I know there are many mods out there that restore those tree models and add them to various places around Chiliad, I just wonder if there's any information left where those trees were supposed to spawn, exactly.

Blitz Play takes place before Sharmoota Job/Exile, the mention of clown outfits must've been added after Shamoota Job was cut

Some bugstar logs that mention the cut Mrs A and Mrs B missions:
 

[LDS][RC][MrsAvB1] The baseball bat clips through Franklin when moving around.

 

[LDS][RC][MrsAvB1] The camera clips through the hedge in Mrs B's garden.

 

Mrs A and Mrs B 1: After driving the car into the water, Franklin walked over the top of the car, starting and almost immediately ending the phone conversation.

 

The first part of Mrs AvB 1 is skipped if the player is in a taxi and asks for a taxi odd job mission just as they trigger the Mrs AvB one.

 

Jumping out of the pool in RC - Mrs AvB 2 causes Franklin to stand midair at an angle momentarily.

 

[LDS][PS3][RC11C] Mrs A is leaning on nothing while she's in the car with Franklin.

 

[LDS][RC][MrsAvB3] The subtitles no longer appear for Mrs A's lines when using the megaphone.

 

[LDS][RC][MrsAvB4] Everyone sat on the sun loungers are floating above them.

 

Opening cutscene and initial objective were skipped on starting Mrs A and Mrs B 4

 

RC - Mrsavb4 - Pink artifact flashes on screen whilst descending the staircase to the hotel pool

 

[LDS][RC][MrsAvB4] Ambient peds are no longer sitting on the sun loungers at the hotel.

 

Mrs AvB 5 - Mrs A pulls out a gun after having hold of sheers in cutscene.


Also, some dialogue that was in "The Sharmoota Job"
 

NH1B - Grammatical error in dialogue: "That's the question! Ha ha ha ha"

 

NH_SW_FRAN - Franklin's line "We just hiding behind some bushes..." is inaudible.

I just randomly placed some to show how they'd look like. They were supposed to be on the northern back side of Chilliad. This mod places them in the most accurate location possible according to the first trailer.

Are these the trees that appear in trailer 1?

You should be showing ps3 or xbox 360 version of the game not the pc version because it has the next gen upgrades but the ps3 version is more close to the trailer

Not sure if this has been posted before but I know some people already know this but in trailer one (obviously the oil rigs are a different color) this entire location where the oil rig is different in the final game. Idk just thought I'd post this.

Also forgot to mention that the (idk what to call it) but the stack with the windows(?) is also different and does not protrude out like in the final game.

Yeah it's been discussed before, they completely changed this area.

Also, why do these three trees in the left look like they are hiding something? They don't make any sense :kekw:

yeah Terrain was entirely changed

here the exact camera coords of that shot

Nice find! The NYC style 3 or 4 head signals on a single pole are pretty rare in California so I'd bet these were supposed to be cable strung. These would fit in pretty well somewhere like Paleto Bay over the highway, although in a single head or 3-head style since the highway doesn't have any 4-way intersections. Maybe the 4-way style was for the middle of town.

 

And hey, we do have the single signal style cable strung lights in VI! Some world artist finally got their wish I guess lol.

do we happen to also have the time and weather presets used?


come to think of it do we have a full recorded presentation of the Trailer 1 mission script but using the final game? im interested on seeing a full 1:1 comparison, preferably using old gen timecyc/weather files for accuracy to launch build

yeah.

and interestingly R* used a lot the "snowlight" weather.

like in the trailer 2 jet shot, the bus and train shot in the ghetto

etc.

i assume bc on 360/ps3 the snowflake particles weren't part of the weather yet and maybe got added with PS4/XONE/PC.

so it probably was useful since it had fog and such.

I've checked the morgue even likely places I thought it was gonna be like the Humane labs to, tho those places have similar cabinets but onky has generic drugs in them

I guess this count's here then... The new DLC has a cutscene with Martin Madrazo and an unique model for Madrazo's driver, but for some reason the model is unused and instead they're using day one NPC model.

There was also wire hung traffic lights ment to be in VC but were also cut

Hmm maybe, I thought they would've used this guy in the intro cutscene but they don't, I haven't seen all the missions yet, but wouldn't be the first time they made a model and didn't use it

Okay so follow up post to that, it seems that the model is infact used in one of the Mr. Faber missions, but he clearly says "Good to see you again" but you see him for first time and he does seem to have the same voice as the guy in cutscene, so i guess this is an oversight and for some reason they used the wrong model in the intro cutscene
