Now admittedly there is 328 pages here so maybe these destruction sims have been shown off but if not...

I compiled a video with stuff relating to the cut second portion of the Monkey Business mission.

It also includes the vehicle recordings for the cargobobs flight path, michael and dave duct taped to it, and the janky cinematic camera that was left in the files as well.

As noted in a comment on the video, i might've mixed up franklin/trevors spots

actually now i wonder if the shooting out the cargobob would have worked like on the offshore approach of the merryweather heist

These "Destruction Simulations" looks amazing
would add more life and interesting dynamics to missions
Considering how many of you post really interesting things here, this game and some missions would be even better remembered.
I wonder why this is finally abandoned, it looks great

Hope GTA6 may bring such features to missions

An user found a piece of OST from scrapped Agent Trevor DLC.

Here's the original link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/grand-theft-auto-59473454

The patreon page belongs to Sweet Valley, the music group is ran by Nathan Williams and his brother, he's also the founder of Wavves which also had hand in GTA V music. The locked patreon post says that years ago they wrote some music for a GTA V expansion that "never came to fruition" and that this is one of the tracks they wrote. The audio file is named Clifford 2 May 29.mp3 too which is pretty f*cking cool. I guess this also proves this is Track 2. The funny thing is that this has been up since 2021, seems only around 6 people ever have found this due to the fact that you have to pay to access the post.

The only thing that's problematic is the fact it's locked behind patreon, so the only way to share this with everyone and let them listen to it is to leak it, this is also why the original person who found this wishes to remain anonymous as he doesn't want to be a "leaker".

Here's the audio file (volume warning), it sucks it has to be leaked but i will remove this link if either Sweet Valley or GTAF admins request it.

It sounds similar to the Heists Soundtrack IV and VII (from ThatScore/TomilovSenya). I wonder if either Wavves and/or Tangerine Dream based it off from each other?

More likely to be an Infiniti i30/i35 since it's using the schafter interior.

Just chiming in here to say that the Avera seems definitely based on the Hyundai i30 instead as the name seems to be taken from the "Av" in Avante (the i30's name in Korea) and the "ra" in Elantra (the i30's name in America)

There's a particular Rockstar dev with an obsession for old school Infinitis so it's more likely.

Besides, the Hyundai i30 is a bit of an obscure nugget in NA.

A Rockstar dev's alleged Infiniti fetish or your objectively false perceived rarity of a car sold almost 250,000 times in the U.S. in 2013 doesn't mean anything.

Moreover, there was also another Hyundai named the Azera being sold at the time, which brings the total to three Hyundai models that may have inspired the name of the Avera.

Another important piece of evidence as to what the Avera was is that the source code leak's race classes categorized the Avera as a "people carrier".

As far as I can tell the Infiniti i30 was only ever a sedan and had no body style that would suit the "people carrier" description, however the Hyundai i30 did have a wagon/estate body style that could be called such.

The Hyundai Elantra/i30 also ranked among the top 15 best-selling vehicles in the U.S. back in 2013, considerably more than any Infiniti model.

I recall from press interviews during V's release cycle that Rockstar developers analyzed top-selling cars nationwide when it came to NPC traffic inclusion, implying that the Elantra was considered heavily and then eventually modeled as the Avera before being cut.

So we're thinking it could've possibly looked like the Hyundai Elantra Touring?

2012_Hyundai_Elantra_Touring_GLS,_Front_

The thing is though, when I hear the term people carrier, I think of a minivan. In that comment you linked to, the Avera is grouped with vehicles that are actually SUVs (FQ2, Serrano, etc.). So maybe it could've been more like a 2nd-gen Hyundai Tucson perhaps?? The Tucson is a small crossover SUV. Hell, maybe even a Hyundai Santa Fe? I'm just spitballing some ideas here because I'm pretty curious about what this vehicle could've been.

The problem with these is that the textures being named "i30" doesn't seem to fit, unless they were borrowed from yet another unknown cut car or something.

I could see Rockstar grouping a wagon like car in with crossovers though, their vehicle classes aren't always the best and wagons don't have a dedicated class. They did make the Vivanite an SUV in GTA Online after all...

Yeah, I don't understand why they don't go through the effort to classify all their vehicles correctly. It's such a small thing that irks me.

So, with that being said, the Avera would've been a hatchback or wagon/estate vehicle in the game for sure with it most likely being the Hyundai Elantra Touring.

i listened to it a few times, sounds very interesting!
I feel like it's a bit of chase music? It's hard for me to say, at some points it even have a bit different vibe, a bit like a hallucination mission, but rather it's just a rhythm

It sounds like a chase music because all of the stems are played in that sample. You could pretty much achieve the same result with most of the soundtrack if you were to play all of the stems together.

It could be for any occasion really as level designers could trigger these strings to suit what the player is doing at that time.

I do get what you mean about the hallucination element though, I thought more along the lines of aliens. Unfortunately they have nothing to do with this DLC. I can also see where you're coming from as I had also thought it sounds rather similar to what Soulwax did for Drug Wars.

I was wondering what the source of the songs circulating on Twitter was, here it is then. Not even one ounce of effort to at least link to this post, or the Patreon lol.

Yeah it's pretty obvious that they just saw the post i made and posted the tweet for attention without crediting the original source (even if the person wishes to be anonymous) or without mentioning my post which had repost permission from the person who found it, i also saw InfinityBesk be butthurt that Billsyliam didn't credit GTAFocal after he reposted the audio file, really sad lmao, i called him out on it and he deleted his tweet afterwards

GTAFoc al are just hacks tbh

Some parts of this music sounds similar to the ones from Undead Nightmare for some reason, I wonder what would happen in this mission.

By the way, I completely missed the discussion about Franklin and Lamar being mexicans or something before, Ariano Sanchez Rockstar? Really? :kekw:

Tbh not sure why MMI said it too, the original guy who found it actually came from MMI's discord, he appeared out of nowhere saying he found a track from scrapped SP DLC and sent the audio file, at first i was skeptical but i dm'ed him and he told me the source etc, then that's how i realized it was real

He actually wanted to privately message MMI first, so MMI knew about this as soon as i did

Hey, we didn't know you made a post about it here on the Forums; you first said in DMs to keep it a secret, and after someone else dmed me about the track, I decided it was a good idea to post since it seems to be public already (probably came from your post here). I removed the tweet of the credits. No bad intentions anywhere

Again, didn't knew this post existed, as Slick already said it was originally a user who was on the Discord and then deleted his messages, I wanted to ask more but the user already deleted all his messages which I then thought it must have been some misinformation until Slick dmed me

FWIW I wasn't actually referring to you in my post :) Unless you made one of the tweets in which case, np.

Lazlow uses Trevor's beta shirt model and texture and very similar arms. The only difference I see is the V-neck on Trevor. The mapping also kinda matches with Trevor's final shirt. Trevor's uppr_003 has normal maps that match with the beta shirt

HeySlickThatsMe

The new bail bonds police transporter (POLICET3) seems to be built out of the CNC model (POLICET2) which would explain the police computer inside, but it also seems to be very rushed as they left a lot of unused tuning options, though most of the models have been removed

Vaporsharky

The new Vincent Dispatch mission 'Officer Monitored' uses an early map asset, which appears to be the map included with physical copies of the game. It looks like there's a few minor road differences (some of the intersections up north appear to be straight T-junctions instead of the odd Y-junctions we have in-game, for example), La Puerta is referred to as 'Las Puertas' and the Ron Alternates Wind Farm is simply 'Windfarm'.

Joe Rubino in an interview with the San channel said that the Agent Trevor DLC was paused halfway through to focus on GTA:O. He goes on to say that Rockstar could have worked on both, but they didn't see the point in releasing DLC, as in Rockstar's view "DLC wouldn't compete in success with Online"
