Not sure if this was posted before or would count as Beta, but the monument by main entrance of Fort Zancudo has jets on it which don't look like Lazers, but looks more like Hydra that we've seen in first trailer

I think that piece of land got cut because it was just that: a piece of land. I remember there was an early screenshot where you could see it, and it was nothing more than that.

Found some phone stuff (Not sure if posted already. Sorry if it is.)

 

 

It seems like there was a map/GPS and a bunch of other features on the phones that were cut. Some icons looked different.

 

Hey!! That Infinity sign with the arrow on top and bottom sounds very connected to the 'Infinite 8' killer. Hmmmm lol

 

I think it may be the mission replay icon as said in many previews. Replaying missions happens through your phone instead of the menu.

Probably a lie, there isn't a single file by now mentioning it. Ash would probably have discovered it when he found the cut songs list.

 

Edit: Just noticed something. In Franklin's trailer, a Fame or Shame trailer is seen on the street. However, this only appears during the Fame or Shame mission. Wonder if it used to spawn in traffic (probably rarely). Also, I just noticed, the gas trailer used to be red.

The red tanker appears as an static(but dynamic) object in some places, one can be found next the Los Santos Customs in La Mesa where the cargo containers are.

Kavinsky was never in the game at all. He played the gaming community to get hits.

Looking through the sound files to find the supposed "Route 69", I discovered engine sounds for Dodo.

 

It was either an entirely cut vehicle or renamed - Mammatus, Velum and Duster have their own sound files.

 

Also there is some sort of a jet called "Vulkan"

Vulkan even has its police scanner audio file. Oddly enough, most fixed-wing aircraft that are actually in the game do not have them. There's also the "seaplane"...

Probably because the Vulkan had weapons? In the reticule scaleform file it lists that it has WEAPON_VULCAN_GUNS and VULCAN_ROCKETS - and a VULCAN_ROCKET_COCKPIT_VIEW -- and even just a normal COCKPIT_VIEW for that matter.

Pretty unlikely. Probably more a design decision, with some stuff just held back DLC/updates.

Which I really wouldn't be surprised if most, if not all, DLC stuff we've seen so far was made quite a long time ago...

Assuming you mean from the build log; that was a small issue very early on in development - most likely someone placed the wrong file somewhere or called for the wrong model - and the issue was removed after 3 days.

 

Edit: Vulkan = Hydra? Never really though about it til now, but they're both weaponized jets, right? I don't recall the Hydra name actually being used anywhere in game files.

I think the Riot shield was used for special forces during higher wanted levels that would arrive in the armoured Riot van hence the name.

 

On the other hand I believe the Besra is a new name for the hunter.

I agree with the part about the riot. Such a shame it got cut, this had an awesome potential. Fun fact, riot shields were mentioned in the supposed "leaks".

But I don't know if I don't believe so or don't want to believe the Hunter is now Besra. That is too stupid, even for Rockstar. Let's hope it's another heli (the more the merrier) and the actual Hunter is coming later/at the same time but not found yet. I wonder what it could be based on if a new one.

Do you think he was actually supposed to be in the game, but because he broke some confidentiality clause in his contract the devs cut out his station out? My two cents.
