But regarding that red map, some of those roads are the same in the mirrored North Yankton map like this area in red.

And that area right around the Vinewood Reservoir has quite a few changes. And also looks like there was a road connecting to the highway bridges in the south.

It looks like it's copy and pasted multiple times on that North Yankton map too

There was a third alleyway going through Mirror Park and no lake? Did we already know about that?

Since the base game music was quite the hot topic back in the day, how about the music from DLC's?

Went through all of the stations' trackID ID's and came across a bunch of findings.

Because there's a lot, I put everything into spoiler tags;

THE LAB

Spoiler

unknown.png

The original order might have been a little different. The reasoning for this is that just about every other mix lists songs in the exact order they're in the mix.

BLONDED

Spoiler

unknown.png

The most striking oddity here is that all but one of Frank Ocean's songs are last on the trackID listing. All the other songs are listed in the correct order, with the exception of Codeine Crazy, which is also last. Could it be that they were added just before the station was finalized?

Also seeing how Frank Ocean's songs got added en-masse, I wonder if adding more of his songs was a condition for R* to use the blonded branding. Guess we'll never know. However, to fuel more speculation, I do wonder if the radio originally wasn't called blonded and was something entirely different.

Finally, there's a blank ID, 1687, that is used in parts 2 and 3 of the mix. For some strange reason, this ID is called in during the Declasse Yosemite and Pfister Neon commercials. I guess someone made a mistake and "fixed" it by not assigning a label. Too bad the same mistake made the cut in Still Slipping.

LSUR

Spoiler

Nothing out of place here, aside from mixes 3 (Dixon) and 4 (Black Madonna) being listed before 1 (Solomun) and 2 (Tale of Us). But, well, that doesn't give much to go by, and doesn't even have any gaps in between ID's. It's possible they were just listing the DJ's by their names, alphabetically.

ARENA WAR SOUNDTRACK

Spoiler

unknown.png

To get this out the way, no, this was NOT supposed to be in a radio station. This is actually intended for Rockstar Editor. I covered this in a tweet previously, but with the Diamond Casino & Resort update, Rockstar planned to add the Arena War soundtrack to R* Editor. For some reason they decided against it before release though. TrackID is needed for those so that it can display the song names in the Editor. This is where it pulls the names from, hence why they exist here. Same thing for commercials and sound effects.

A little fun fact, if you were to put these songs into a radio station and then use the Share to Social Club feature, it would work! All songs except for the Slaves Of Fear remix share just fine.

IFRUIT RADIO

Spoiler

unknown.png

This is an interesting one. It appears that the station had a whopping 26-34 songs cut from it. The 1770-1803 block of ID's gives it away. All of the songs there are in alphabetical order. Plus the fact that the ID list being turned to swiss cheese is not a normal occurence.

This station has an interesting feature, "takeover". Takeover is basically a separate set of idents, DJ solos, and songs. In this radio, a certain someone who acts worse than a child on R* Livestreams is the DJ, and once a "takeover" happens, he's... still the DJ but Skepta is now there too as a "special" guest. Technically this can, in a way, be a full DJ swap.

So, taking this feature into account, the standard playlist consists of 15 songs, while the takeover playlist has only 13 songs. That's not a lot compared to other radio stations in the game, and definitely a pretty low one to divide into two parts. The station itself has 28 songs in total (or "27" if you write the Newswires), and when you include the missing 26-34 songs... now wouldn't that amount make more sense for a station divide?

FLYLO FM (ISLAND HEIST)

Spoiler

"Afterlife Currency" by David Firth appears to have been a late addition to the station. It plays during part 1 of the mix, which are listed in the 1932-1943 range, followed by part 2 in the 1944-1953 range. However, this particular song is nowhere near this range, in fact it's at the very end of all radio TrackID's (2071), alongside some other oddballs from other stations.

WORLDWIDE FM (ISLAND HEIST)

Spoiler

unknown.png

Similar case to FlyLo, except with one difference. Instead of a song being tacked on, it looks more towards a song being replaced. All 5 parts of Island Heist's Worldwide FM are assigned the 1954-1994 range. During part 5, there is a random gap in between songs, at ID 1992. The final mix does fill in that gap, though, with ID.... 2070. Why just randomly leave one ID blank and then use an ID from the very end of the list?

unknown.png

Which means that, whatever was the song that originally played in that spot, it was replaced with "Grand Hi" by Bruise.

MUSIC LOCKER RADIO (PALMS TRAX)

Spoiler

Part 1 of the mix is a bit oddly positioned. "Professor 3" is between two iFruit Radio songs, while "Untitled Dub" is at the end of the Keinemusik range. Personally, I think that this was just Rockstar wanting to assign ID's 1823-onwards, forgetting that iFruit Radio uses 1824, so they moved "Untitled Dub" to a free space at 1893.

MUSIC LOCKER RADIO (KEINEMUSIK: BEACH PARTY)

Spoiler

unknown.png

For whatever reason, the radio version of Keinemusik's beach mix is cut short. The song "Bumper" is not on the radio mix despite having a TrackID value (1869). While not a cut song, this entry obviously goes unused, as the non-radio mixes don't use TrackID's.

K.U.L.T.

Spoiler

unknown.png

Aside from POTENTIALLY (not definitively) 6 songs being cut (missing entries for ID's 1894-1899), it appears that "Left Me Lonely", "Where No Eagles Fly", and "Going Back To Cali" were very late additions to the station. I believe this for two, confusing, reasons.

First - the TrackID list. "Where No Eagles Fly", and "Going Back To Cali", just like the two songs from FlyLo and Worldwide, are at the very end of the TrackID list. 2073 and 2074, respectively (also the very last song ID's).

Second - the playlist order. Yes, this is a randomized station, but the songs that need to play still have to be listed. The song playlist for Kult, is strictly alphabetical.... except for those 3 songs, which are at the end of the playlist completely out of order.

unknown.png

STILL SLIPPING LOS SANTOS

Spoiler

unknown.png

Part 2 of the mix is missing a song at ID 2007. What fills the gap in between 2006 and 2008 is.... 2072. Which is a Commercial, remember what I said at blonded? Admittedly I don't care about this station enough to listen to it fully and know if that's the only unique ad on the station, but it is a little odd how it has a unique ad that also happens to have been given a trackID entry for god knows why, in between two songs, filling a missing gap.

ISLAND HEIST

Spoiler

unknown.png

ID's 2068 and 2069 are blank. Can't tell if they were from Moodymann's set or cut late additions.

Having went though DLC stuff, I figured I'd also take a look at the 2014 re-release ID's. Since I can describe everything in 1 line no need for spoiler tags;

FLYLO FM
At least 1 song might have been removed from the 2014 re-release, in between "F--- The Makeup, Skip The Shower" and "4AM/AraabMuzik Streetz Tonight Remix". On top of that, "Shred You To Bits" is at the very end of the new additions, which could mean that that song might have been tacked on in the middle of the mix and then the other song was removed?

RADIO LOS SANTOS
At least 1 song might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1502. "Sellin' Dope" by Freddie Gibbs & Mike Dean might have been a very late addition, given its position in the list.

WEST COAST CLASSICS
At least 2 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1568. "I Got 5 On It" by The Luniz might have been a very late addition, given its position in the list.

PRE-MILLE- *ahem* VINEWOOD BOULEVARD RADIO
At least 2 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1545, 1551. One of those was "Pay No Mind" by Hanni El Khatib.

CHANNEL X
At least 3 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1424, 1425, 1426.

SPACE 103.2
At least 3 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1463, 1464, 1465

LOS SANTOS ROCK RADIO
At least 5 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1471, 1476, 1480, 1564, 1565.

NON-STOP-POP
At least 5 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1483, 1486, 1494, 1572, 1573. "Strangers In The Wind" by Cut Copy might have been originally a Non-Stop-Pop song (instead of Radio Mirror Park) since it's randomly listed in between a ton of Non-Stop-Pop songs.

RADIO MIRROR PARK
At least 9 songs might have been removed from the 2014 re-release. 1528, 1529, 1531, 1533, 1557, 1558, 1559, 1560, 1561.

2014 RE-RELEASE IN GENERAL
76-84 songs in total appear to have been cut.

And, also went back to last-gen for a moment;

RADIO MIRROR PARK...?
unknown.png
*yellow indicates songs that are listed in last-last-gen's trackid.gxt2, but removed from the 2014 re-release & PC trackid.gtx2

"Harm In Change" by Toro Y Moi was a separate song, likely intended to be on Radio Mirror Park (ID 1172) as it's placed in between a bunch of other Radio Mirror Park songs ("Day One", "In Real Life", "O.N.E., the latter two returning in the 2014 re-release). The one used on Worldwide FM has a duplicate entry at ID 1361. If we're going by ID's, it seems that by then the mixes weren't finalized yet, as a placeholder "Worldwide FM - Gilles Peterson" entry is at ID 1206.

EAST LOS FM
At least 7 songs might have been removed. There's just too many placeholders at the end of the final mix.

In case anyone wants to take a look for themselves, or want to do investigating of their own.

The lasso is a cut weapon that was either a leftover from RDR1, or was intended to be used when horses were still planned for the game. Would have made an interesting addition to the game had it made the cut.
