Found this by accident yesterday.

 

A tennis court in Vinewood Hills had different lights with four on each side rather than three. Rockstar forgot to change the map collision, so you have 8 invisible lamps as well as the 6, shorter, visible ones.

Yeah I was going to say, LA has a sh*tload of vegetation and I'm suprised it does. Plus they always have nature walk and stuff in cities so those trees aren't really out of place.

I dunno, I can see in some way why rockstar cut some of the vegetation, that being if it was close to the IRL LA it would make the map too crowded. Except what I don;t like is how they took it to the extreme and removed practically everything. Also console limitations blablablablabla

Japanese version of the GTAV has changed many things..

 

1) In the cutscene at the start of Mr. Phillips, the scene of Trevor and Ashley having sex has been removed, skipping a few seconds ahead to Trevor staring slackjawed at the TV.

2) In the cutscene at the start of Scouting the Port, Trevor's animation for exposing his dick to Floyd remains unchanged, but the actual model swap to remove his pants does not occur, resulting in him miming the act of taking off his pants

3) The strippers at the strip clubs now have pasties to cover their nipples. (Yes)

4) When you take the prostitutes to a secluded area, it automatically goes to one option and the camera becomes unmovable and sits behind the car at a low angle.

5) In the mission Reuniting the Family, the tattoo Michael draws on Lazlow is shaped like a rocket instead of a penis.

6) In the mission Paparazzo - The Sex Tape, the animation of Poppy Mitchell and Justin having sex has been replaced with them having a quiet smoke.

7) In the mission By the Book, the notorious torture sequence is disabled - you only see the cutscenes bookending each playable sequence.

@BlackScout, this picture look low-end like GTA SA quality is. Anyway it does have some improved textures at this time like mountains beside the big building. @WildBrick142, nice find.

Is it just me who noticed that this cycle is a beta cycle? There is no hardtail, if you look where I've circled so it looks like the rear shock.

Found this today after what I originally wanted to find spiraled into this find.

 

Simple fix, go to vehicles.meta, find the section for "utillitruck"

Change this:

      <animConvRoofDictName>null</animConvRoofDictName>      <animConvRoofName>null</animConvRoofName>

To this:

      <animConvRoofDictName>va_utillitruck</animConvRoofDictName>      <animConvRoofName>crane</animConvRoofName>

You activate it in-game the same way you would raise/lower roof in cars. It's glitchy as hell though, the raised crane noclips through stuff, has no sound, and it becomes invisible if you're not looking at the truck (this screenshot is taken at an awkward angle for that reason)

Also it seems to have switched the lower and raise roof (at least when using snt)
aka when i press lower roof it goes up and vice versa

I'd still say the fact utillitruck and utillitruck2 are different models might suggest they were planning to do something like this earlier on - saying that, they use different handling too. Oh and we have like 4 unnecessary copies of the Boxville, Burrito, countless more vehicles....etc.

 

Right now I'm driving around to find a Utillitruck driving. I have a feeling that R* might be stupid enough to copy/paste the script that allows convertible cars to randomly lower/raise their roofs in traffic. Or I might be stupid enough to assume that editing vehicles.meta will allow a completely separate script to activate an animation. One of the two :)

 

There is one great thing about this though - at least you don't have to worry about low bridges.

So I found one in traffic. It was driving with the crane raised like a boss.

 

Once it started raining, the driver put the crane down :lol:

can you find that cherry picker in free roam? i'd have fun with that in online.

 

You can, iirc, but to get the ability to raise the crane you'd have to mod the game, and that is likely to get you banned from GTAO.

 

It's also practically useless since R* removed/didn't do/didn't finish the collision for the crane so you can only stand on where the crane normally is.

This is another thing I found yesterday, but did not post since I had little time and couldn't get all those gifs. A GTAO action called "V Sign", added in GTA Online: Lowriders. It's basically an early version of "Peace", added in "Lowriders: Custom Classics", except the animation is different. (Excuse the clipping, R* Editor can't stunt prop)
