The GTA V beta hunt

That picture partially sparked the conceprion of this thread, and strangely that screen was released like 3 months prior to the games release, that's a huge cut for a late cut

 

Another possible find: in the brady games strategy guide the Enus Super Diamond is classyfied as a sports car, though this could be just an author oversight.

 

I'll look through my strategy guide to see if there's anything else.

 

 

 

With that explosion, which I don't remember ever happening in the Jewel Store Job, and that Michael's fleeing with the duffel bag, which he didn't do in either approaches, may suggest this is an unreleased/yet-to-be-released heist. And didn't both Quiet + Loud & Dumb call for silenced carbines, not AK47's?

 

Exactly, its for sure not one of the heists, unless the loud jewelry store approach ends in a loud getaway.

In the beta version, in the final mission, ending C, Franklin was supposed to have died and been replaced by Lamar. Which would have made sense. Lamar is in the mission. But anyway, this would have been AWESOME!!!!!!! This is all speculation but they're could have been a funeral for him with Denise, Tanisha, maybe Simeon, Michaels family (since they did like him), Trevor, Lamar, and Michael. Trevor blames Michael for Franklins death but Lamar tells them to shut up and to get revenge. So Michael and Trevor team up one last time for Franklin and of course Lamar comes along too. Then it probably would have been the same thing as Deathwish already is. But then once the mission ends, you get to play as Lamar which would have been awesome. You get to have access to Lamar's wardrobe and have the same strangers and freaks missions Franklin has except its a little different. Plus since Franklins dead Lamar can keep chop. But the best part about that ending is it would make such a great surprise. It would have made the regular ending so much better. Soo mad that didn't happen.

 

 

Another thing I'm mad about then cutting is Dynamic state machines. A thing where you might see peds going on they're daily lives. It would have made them SOOO much better then our average regular peds in the game. I dunno, they might add it in the pc version.

State Machines are in the game to a certain extent, not as how they promised but its because of the liberals and pseudo liberals and people who hate f*ckin pseudo america AKA Limitations. In the PC version we might see the full extent of that.

I remember another journal preview that stated other npc divers could be seen diving, and taking money cases before players do. Probably explained why players can knife underwater, since they are useless against sharks.

Note how hes holding the gun one handed too, D3ADSHOT, is there any mention of gun handling or models that involve single hand shooting?

 

And speaking of Cropdusters the original model had a cleaner newer, less rusty paint job.

Hopefully we do. I hope Rockstar actually takes advantage of PC and doesn't just make a console version of the game on PC. The whole reason I want a PC version is to have amazing graphics, smart npc's, and add parts to the map that they had to cut or make smaller because of the "console limitations." And maybe add some of the cut vehicles, too .

ERM, I actually found those first. That's my work go back and check the radio threads when I first started to post the lists.

 

There's no radio stations linked to them, there's three cut radio stations that changed over production such as 90s_rock and jazz. The rock station has a logo left behind, its known as just P.M.R.

Exactly, I still can't wrap my mind on how Rockstar completely overlooked this feature.

 

The All-White casual jacket is complete obsolete to me because it doesn't look good with the white shirt underneath. Which is a shame since it looks like a cool jacket.

- During or after the mission ''Eye in the sky'' Trevor was supposed to get rid of the pilot and take control of the helicopter.

Technically he still does although you do not see it.

If you switch to Trevor just after you finish that mission Trevor is flying the chopper and he says something like "I hope it wasn't a hard landing".

Pretty interesting.

Actually, the police arresting people thing might've not been a cut feature, but a mission as the same scene was seen twice. One in the screenshot, and the other in Franklins trailer

This might've been the same scene. Either that was a mission or they were just getting arrested in free roam like you said. It goes along with the dynamic state feature I was taking about. But then again, they're could always be a chance of a pc release......

Ya, it was a joke, because it seems they had everything ready for the online beta, but cut it all at release

Jimmy they couldn't reuse the same code as IV, it wouldn't really work. What happens to the player happens to the NPCs too.

 

OT:

 

- Michael's face has heavily changed over the course of the years, first his eyes were bigger and light blue, then they were sorta smaller and Brown.

 

- The Police cruiser would of had been a fist generation stanier like GTA IV, however it was changed into second generation and it would be the main patrolling cruiser in LS. Until R* decided to implement the Interceptor.

 

- The ambulance had the same lightbar as V.

 

- The wrench might of had been a weapon in the Beta.

 

- You would of had been able to use the extinguisher in the Beta.

 

- The M9 had a darker skin.

 

- Jesse was ment to be at Vespucci Beach near the SOTW shop and seen interacting with peds, how ever his location was changed because of the Altruist old man near him.

 

- Aiming styles would change based on the skill, there is a picture despicting Franklin holding a handgun with one hand. How ever this was cut because liberals dont like people being stereotyped or limitations.

Jimmy they couldn't reuse the same code as IV, it wouldn't really work. What happens to the player happens to the NPCs too.

 

 

Yes but it was shown in a screen, and the feature is seen to be similar to IV, even if it wasn't as detailed, they could have put something in that wasn't cops blasting away at a guy because he punched me in the face.

Some finds from the first trailer

 

-The Canis Bodhi was originally a pedestrian driven car.

-The LSPD Stanier was at one point the GTA IV version and had very a vintage lightbar.

-The Cognoscenti Cabrio was at one point also a pedestrian driven car.

-Franklin and Tanisha where originally a couple with chemistry (I could be wrong and they are most likely normal NPCs).
