wow never knew that. Using a save editor on 360(or director mode this gen) Franklins black boilersuit is available to wear but without the bugstars logo(unless you use save editor or mod on pc).

The BUGSTAR uniform has six colors including black:

The Green (pic 1), Gray (pic 2) and Navy (pic 3) colors are the Boiler Suits you can buy at Ammu-Nation. The purplish one (pic 4) is the Janitor outfit used in The Bureau Raid - Covert. The only one I can't recognize is the light blue (5th pic) suit.

The blue one is also still in the game using the same methods for franklins black boilersuit mentioned above. All three characters have an unused blue boilersuit for some reason.

Actually, no. The Bugstars logo is a decal object, so it could be still be applied even if you're wearing something like the Highway Patrol uniform or Gruppe Sech Guard. These are all mostly just alternate colors for the jumpsuit which most are already available in the game.

By the way, what happened to old Franklin's and Michael's models ? (the one in the second trailer and on the socialclub screenshots) Did someone find any trace in the files or something ? I think i never saw an answer anywhere in this post. And it's probably a good beginning to make a complete beta mod with all the cut contains :O !

Weird how trevors spade and dagger tattoos shows up in all artwork of him wearing a tshirt. Was this ever a thing(leftovers in files maybe?) or just for the art?

Also i know this has been discussed before but does anyone else notice in trailer 2 that michael wears the ludendorf jacket,prolouge jeans and spec ops boots in the prologue scene or is it just me?

If anyone remembers these textures from the PS3 startup.ctd/.gfx, I decided to go back to that file. A while ago, it has also been found that there were textures inside the Scaleform Flash file that had the V concept logos:

After revisiting the file and looking at some of its sprites and scripts, I decided it was a good idea to try to compile it into a workable SWF Flash file. This was the result (the file, when opened, fades from white to gray, but I couldn't capture that in the GIF):

As it seems, whenever the game was started up, developers would be presented with (I guess) the three possible designs for the V logo at the time, before being redirected into the screen with the bug and performance graphs. From looking at certain things within the flash file, they had a menu bar where they could select stuff, scroll bars and everything, but those don't seem to work in here.

 

As an extra, given that we already had the GTA V final logo by the announcement in 2011, I decided to go and check the metadata for the Flash file...

I guess that explains it.

Aren't those logos baseball team logos or something like that? Strange options for the logo, though there could of been many other options that just aren't included there. Or maybe it was just a placeholder logo and they were looking for one to use...as a placeholder? I guess once the decision was made to focus the story on the 'pursuit of the all-mighty dollar' someone drew up something like the current logo and that was that.

They are, but it's very likely they reused them. I don't see why they'd all be V's and why they'd be there if they weren't GTA V logos. :p The file was created 2009 so it's likely those were very early logos. Maybe the story wasn't set in stone yet.

No, it was something separate. That looks like it's a part of the engine itself, 'startup' was a Flash/Scaleform file, like much of the game's user interface.

dunno if this is the right place to post this but in prologue near the vault there is a room called surveillance that you can get into by no cliping into the door. The betamax tape found earlier in the thread can be seen on the shelf and cctv of the outside can be seen.

I recall someone mentioning that there is unused dialog for the prolog about torching the surveillance room or blowing it up or something. Seems like it was a small scenario that ended up getting cut from the mission and just walled off instead of deleted, probably cut late into development.
