Restored a few more. They also didn't have any text keys. Still trying to figure out the ones that won't ever show up, they're probably controlled by scripts.

All I did was add a new category into spstatssetupui.xml and add the Hunter kill stats in there. Then added the gxt labels into global.gxt2 so that it displays more than empty space. It's actually very easy to add new stats (which is why I managed to do that in the first place :p )

 

Stats get their gxt labels from their name so if you add a "HUNTER_BULLET_KILLS" to global/wherever, the label you give it will be the text in-game. Same with Stats section.

 

Adding new sections is just a matter of naming it "SP_STATS9" (or whatever number and possibly text, 1-8 are in use) - the same name is also the label name (for me it's "SP_STATS9 = this is fun")

You can also do whatever you like, even make individual stats into a skill bar :p

Unfortunately, a lot of stats are controlled by (I assume?) scripts so it's kind of difficult to add on stats that are actually functional. Weapons can easily be made functional since their meta files have their own "StatName" label to tell the game which weapon is affecting the stat.

Then adding "WEAPON_KILLS" to spstatssetupui.xml with a "ALWAYS_VISIBLE" visibility setting will make it appear.
The devs also left info for other devs about adding stats in both statssetup and statssetupui xml's so that will help out a bit too.

 

 

 

If you want my opinion, GTA V is the most mod-friendly GTA.

The help text at most.

 

I got the XM25 mod, renamed it to "WEAPON_PROGRAMMABLEAR", added last-gen's explosion.meta into update.rpf, and changed the explosion effect tag for its ammo to use the original Programmable AR's explosion tag (that's in explosion.meta). When I spawned it in-game I got the help text for it. I couldn't aim or fire it (when I did aim it, there were no animations but peds still got scared). I can run&gun but it's not firing anything and the animations glitch out badly.

 

And guess what. The icon's existence is already known but there's the fact that the weapon wheel still supports it (along with all the other cut weapons, just so you know) - note that previously it was in Heavy slot and it had no icon so that pretty much confirms it was originally in Rifles slot.

"Account Picker" is an option all R* players have on all platforms. Klang highlighted it for a split second on the Finance and Felony livestream. All it says is "Choose to switch your account." when you highlight it.

The Achievement Hunter guys have also shown it before. On Xbox One however.

Edit: I do wonder if some of those are still in the *sc scripts of the game, fully functional. And we just got to find a way to unlock them.

 

@_CP_ Your dropbox link seems to be broken.

 

Edit: Account picker is Xbox One only indeed. Doing a Diff Checker on the Rockstar file and _CP_'s file shows it being Durango only. It's for Xbox Live accounts.

Those are part of a prop found i.e. in Franklins garage.

It doesn't belong to any car AFAIK.

It is indeed the same jukebox, it has some rather humorous song titles written on it if you look closely (would advise looking on the next gen version as the last gen version would most likely be too low quality)

The Maze Bank Arena is in the far right, the marina is in the lower area of the image. I think the rest of the city wasn't completed back then and they just added water to make it look real. But in the backround you can see mount chiliad. Maybe they started with the upper part of the map and after that they made Los Santos.

The map is divided in a grid. Some grids are assigned to a different artist. Later in that movie, you can see the countryside area as well with a part of the map missing. It's just that the area wasn't finished, and they weren't doing it in any particular order. I guess Artist 1 who had LS assigned to him didn't complete everything at the same time Artist 2 who had the Chilliad area did.
