Imagine Adrian Page waking up this morning. Not knowing whether to be happy that someone finally found his work and this has made people visit his website or sad that this may have got him in a bit of trouble. I wonder what R*'s reaction will be when they find out about this image.

If this is infact a project still in development, I'm gonna go ahead say that it's a GTA IV remaster. I could be completely wrong, but it seems most likely. I mean, it doesn't make sense for their to be a GTA V DLC in Liberty to me, why would they reuse the same city?

Ieaks/rumours spread through the internet like a wild fire. You never know who it could reach and just how fast. R* as a whole know what their users get up to and what they think, although they may not show it.

Remastered with V's graphics? You might as well connect it to V.

 

Also, the fact that his page is gone leads me to believe it's something that is still a thing a shouldn't be known till its announcement.

It's really hard to believe this isn't scrapped content. The latest GTA Online updates have not just included cars from Liberty City, but clothing as well. The remaining scraps from this project seem to have been thrown into GTA Online. Why would they still bother adding a new city, new radio stations, new characters, and new interiors? They can simply toss some more LC cars into Benny's instead and make just as much cash.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if The Lab was originally meant for LC.

It's part of SP DLC and SP DLC is paid DLC and it's one of The Benz ideas (It's planned from 2014 or before that).

Releasing it is basically letting The Benz win the case against Rockstar Games.

Let me preface this with that we know The Benz was a great guy. Gave us GTA we loved. Blah blah blah. But lets not paint him as some kind of lost hero. Did everyone forget that before GTA V's release, and after it, all he would talk about was GTAO and the plans he had for it in the future? Did everyone just ignore the part of the Benz vs Rockstar lawsuit during GTA V's development the Houser Bros wanted to work more on SP stuff, but The Benz was all over GTAO sh*t?

 

The Benz was all about GTAO, while the Houser Bros were still only interested in writing and developing stuff for SP. I find it hard to believe that if this Liberty City stuff was SP DLC, that it's scrapped. Because that would have been the Houser Bros department.

Probably not. But, suggestions are suggestions.

 

I think what happened is that Take-Two saw their child company's online game and what a cash cow it was and basically stoked the fire. Keep in mind that whenever a third-party multiplayer mod was shut down, it was Take-Two's doing. Not Rockstar's. Rockstar has always been fine with modding. They never actively fight against it, but they don't care enough to put out modding tools either (Though, in GTA V's case a lot more things than usual were easily accessible in .meta files. Like the wanted system for example).

 

Also, even with The Benz around heists were constantly delayed I think. I'm not exactly sure when it "vacation" started, but still, heists were supposed to be a big thing - hell, they were supposed to be there from the start - but even with The Benz around they got nowhere.

I'd love the GTA V shooting mechanics in Liberty City.

 

That said, that particular screen looks unappealing visually. Lost that glowy subdued feel of IV. Also the physics took a big downgrade from IV to V so I wouldn't be a fan of that either.

Solomon 4 - Harrier

Plant bombs in the underground tunnel. Stop a convoy and detonate explosives so Harrier jet falls through hole in ground then steel it.

 

where could that have happened? The game world is always completed first as the missions, isn't it? Would be interesting...

Nowhere is it said in that article that support ends October 2016. It merely says that will mark 3 years since it released. You have to do a lot of stretching interpretation to blend that article together to make it mean that, so it's just speculation on the furthest nested quote's part - it's not a fact, it's just a guess, and one that really has no supporting evidence. Saying something is three years old, and then later going on to say it isn't permanant, does not equate to "this is ending in october".....

 

And the franchise has rested. Zelnick is a moron. Seriously. "we have to rest the franchise!" bullsh*t. If he considers the release 3 years old, then it's been 3 years. That is a rest. Regardless of who is playing GTAOnline, that has nothing to do with how well rested the actual franchise is. The delivery mechanism, the Single Player, is rested as f*ck.

 

And SP is so well rested. The nexgen versions have barely anyone who even completed the SP on there, having already completed it on old gen. This is a fact, just go look at PS4 stats, and see there is a very small minority who even played through SP on next gen, it's all about GTAOnline on players. Barely anyone has completed the story on PS4, XB1, and PC. Because they already did it 3 years ago on the old gen consoles. Very small minority actually plays SP today, and a very small minority played it on the new releases. Which means, for the vast majority, the series has rested now for 3 years.

 

The SP needs content for players to return to it.

 

And he is a liar, too, because The Benz was very clear about how Online was something for the long haul and could be updated and expanded indefinitely.

 

I can't stand Straus Zelnick man, he's a f*cking turd. Every time something seems like maybe things are going to speed up, the profitability is so high could make more and hire more manpower to make faster turn around, he comes in and sh*ts on it.

 

All the sh*t they talk at t2 about resting series, they seem to not realize it's easier stagnate a series than it is to fatigue it.

There is a Texture file in game files that is named stungun_tutorial and inside it has two files. They are...

 

 

 

That stungun icon is the beta icon of course. However i have no idea why a tutorial for a stungun was made for in early versions of the game. Maybe it was made for online at times when there were cops and crooks system in the game and every member of the police had to go through this tutorial when they start the job?
