If I'm not mistaken, the blur activates whenever cutscenes play (perhaps for cinematic effect.

wut? I've never seen a cutscene look like that before... I doubt he has graphics mods so I have no idea...

You need to set Depth of Field to Very High or Ultra.

 

Blur looks like that on lower end PCs.

Well, thanks. I have a R9 270x, I thought that could be GPU problem. When I turn MSAA on to 2x, some artifacts appears. AMD have serious problems with GTA V

 

It's strange because another gameplays on internet, especially GTASeries on PC and others gameplays on PS4/XO this blur never appears.

The file that Insincere had, have you tried manually changing the code through the visualsettings.dat with OpenIV?

Both scripts still do exist in the game files but are empty, unfortunately.

 

Well, of course they were :p That's how trailers in games are made, via the actual game. Still a really nice find though. There are SO MANY testing/debug/beta/alpha script files leftover in the game, but R* zeroed all of them, unfortunately.

Unfortunately 2013 photos is almost the same of final version.

 

The radar is slightly different. The actual point position was more above the center, instead of under the center.

Probably these screenshots was taken before trailer 3 and after Trailer 2, but in 2013.

 

But like I said on my analysis, the trees began to be cut after Trailer 2, and as we can see, the trees are almost the same as in final version.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be one of the crashed planes under water, look at the environment around it.

Recreating that rapidgt crash scene on IV would be a good idea

like you said, at that point of the development in trailer 1 V probably used physics straight from IV

So I checked it and it looks like this could be done in IV, at least it looks a lot closer to trailer 1 than final V

Or he could simply switch the model of the Rapid GT to the Dukes 'o Death, which has an abnormal strength and mass compared to the game's other vehicles and could easily push the blue car out of the way.

 

Or change the mass/strength of the Rapid GT via file editing.

 

Also I don't think that radar is different from PS3/360. My theory is that R*'s free camera function keeps the player's marker where it originally was on the radar, but moves only the GPS orientation.

If you place a dot on one of Jonathan Gwyn's screenshots, you'll see that the center is closer to the camera position rather than Michael, as seen here:

Seeing as we can't see the player on the new screenshots BlackScout has found, it's safe to assume this camera position theory is most likely correct.

And only now I have noticed that the colors of Max Payne 3 radar is the same from GTA V in 2011: grey and white.

 

But your theory only applies to Max Payne 3. Where is the protagonist on GTA V screenshots?

 

And of course, look at these palms, is the same from GTA V on PS3/X360. And the vegetation from 2405 house

Strange enough, I never saw those species of palms on São Paulo. Clearly reused the palms from GTA V trailer 1.

In the game files I found a ballistic mask that was used in the beta in the mission the paleto score and I found a green bandana for trevor also in various screen shots the cops have a red laser sight

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a bugged placement and noone at R* realized that. Vinewood Hills, for example, has electricity cables underground, leaving a bunch of houses on Hillcrest Avenue with an unconnected electricity box.

 

It isn't that game-breaking, or important, but when you take the time to look at and appreciate all the details in the game this is actually really bad.

Actually it's not the first time R* puts stuff underground, by mistake or not. The first thing that comes to mind is Katie in Deal version or "Mr. and Mrs. Bellic" in IV. She was meant to appear in the cutscene, but then R* changed their mind and simply moved her down. You can watch the cutscene in OpenIV (the name is fin_1aa.cut) and see that she's even fully animated.
