Some of us ain't able to have that at the moment :/Who cares about native trainers, Its a huge find & thats that, I wish I could have a PC & damn native trainer, & There alot more people that are in the same boat as me,

Well, I'm trying to restore some beta trailer 1 stuff back.

 

To begin, I'll show the Palm Tree.

 

As you guys know, the palm tree on Trailer 1 and beta images was like that:

with strong green leaf colors and a red/brown trunk. Well, look what I tried to do.

The last photo isn't identical because in beta version, at 14:00, the direct color light of the sun was more intense. Well, as you can see, I removed the dead leafs under the palms, this made the veg looks a lot like Trailer 1. About the trunk, I used xbox 360 texture, surprising works bealtiful on PC.

As you can see, I removed the dead leafs. In beta version, fanpalms didn't have dead leafs under the palms (only in trunks).

Well, I tried my best, I know it's not identical, because models changed too and depends of the game color, time and, wheater. The detail is that in BETA version, cedar trunks was more Brown as you can see in the photo. But now isn't more, it's more Grey:

The original Freeway sign in final version:

As you can see, the color changed to light green and the tipografy too. Well, I did my best to restore this color, this was the result

I know it's more darker, but in final version the sign have some white texture (realistic rain damage) in front of the original sign, this make the sign looks more bright.

GTA V PC was supposed to have a global graphics setting changer, as many games do, i.e. Normal, High, Very High, Ultra presets.

Confirmation of a previously rumored/found Night Lights graphics setting.

@DeGeneratorX Don't stop doing this, really, it's a great idea for a mod!!

Perhaps one day you could bring more people in or even make something Kalvin-like :D

One of the things I'd love to see would be a BETA Timecyc, one with a lot of patience could do that :DIt ain't me haha < :p

 

@Spider-Vice IV was also going to have a general graphics option, "off-topic" but worth mentioning, just check frontend_menus.xml

I have the timecyc beta. It's the Xbox 360 timecyc, but works perfectly on PC. "The timecyc's were taken from the STOCK Xbox 360 ISO of GTA V and (surprisingly) work beautifully on GTA V PC! " The reason is because Timecyc of Xbox 360 is approach more with trailer 1 and Trailer 2. It's more colorful, less fog, more blue sky and more yellow/orange direct sun color, just like the Trailer 1.

Huge find? All of that was found back in 2014.

nice, im really looking forward for a mod that brings as much beta stuff as possible

but I think it would be a better idea to work on oldgen map and assets since they are a lot closer to how everything looked in trailer 1 and prerelease screens.

Yeah, but it's better wait for models modification, we only can mod peds and cars.

Well, in this video at least you can compare minor and big changes. But stay tuned on my channel, a enhanced remake is near to finish, thanks to all great mods released, especially simple trainer for GTAV and OpenCamera. Here some screenshots to hype you guys.

It will available at 30fps (cinematic feel) at 1080p. I made a mistake putting the previous remake in 60fps, feels like kinda of strange.

Also, the night bug might be lack of values *I have seen MP3 has 11 time sets per option while V (PC/NG) has 13*, I'll check it.

 

Also I once tried to use Max Payne 3's timecyc lines, I copied them over to w_extrasunny.xml

 

It looks KINDA similar to GTA V Beta, but it bugs a lot and looks pretty weird sometimes.

I think I got lines from the Bus/Train Mission and in another screenshot lines from the Favelas part.

Each screenshot is a copy of different timecyc files from Max Payne 3, also, in one of them, night time looks green and bright (Bus/Train/w/e One), in the other it has Sun Shadows and it's buggy af (Favelas one)

 

AFAIK different levels have different timecyc files.

 

It could be a good start :)

Guys, I made a "prototype" what could be the Franklin beta clother.

ONE BIG PROBLEM: I tried everything to put this texture in the game, you guys can pick the texture without problems. I hope someone get sucess with this and see how close we can get it...

Seems like you need to edit YDD embedded Normal Maps, I tried to extract and edit with PS + NVIDIA Tools for DDS but it refused to open...

It was all black.

Fantastic work. If it helps, there are more images ingame showing the old palmtrees, most specifically, the postcards in shops and markets.

And about the Chilliad trees texture, maybe RDR has a closer one? I know some trees in V are identical to the ones from RDR.

EDIT: Apparently just from Bureau Heist, my bad.

 

The destroyed Police Maverick prop that the player shoots down during the Paleto Heist still has the Trailer 1/old GTA IV Maverick model.

Yeah, but Mega is right, Michael was the main character in Beta because of the "player_zero". It's clear that in trailer 1 the protagonist switch exists in 2011 because Franklin drives the PestControl van, while Michael is the passenger and got out from the van.

 

I think Trevor didn't appear in trailer 1 because he was the main antagonist (main antagonists in major cases don't show up in first trailers) and I doubt that the game had 3 options in the past. I think only one option: Kill Trevor, whats makes sense. But probably rockstar thought that the fans could be disappointment, because Trevor is BADASS, so they add 3 options, thats my opinion. And when I saw Trailer 2 in 2012, I had no doubt that this creepy guy (trevor) could be the main antagonist. This In TRAILER TWO, then you imagine this "creepy guy" showing up in trailer 1, I think rockstar was smart, everybody for sure could think that he's the antagonist in trailer 1 because of his stereotype.

 

Well, other thing, I think Trevor maybe appeared in trailer 1, but not showing your face. He's probably appear piloting planes. I think it's him trolling the farmers with pesticide, piloting the HYDRA between buildings in a risky way or could be piloting the Shamal at the end. Why? Because only him have flying skills.

Correct! According to the devlog mentions, Michael and Franklin existed at least 5 months before Trailer 1, which was November 2011. Their first mentions were in June 2011.
