I'm really starting to think that we should watermark all our findings.

Quite possibly multiple times through out the Image. Some Watermarks could be cropped away.

And besides watermarking the finder's name, maybe someone could make a small logo with something like ''f*ck GTA Youtubers'' or something along that line, immediately scaring them away from stealing?

Another problem is that we always tell where the finding is located in the game files, so any MrAssGTFO-type of asshole can open this file on his own PC and make screenshots. Maybe, just maybe, we should stop disclosing locations openly and share them via PM? But even then, anyone can be a rat... Sh*t, I'm getting paranoid.

Like this? You can pretty much see the content and there is a lot of f*cking text all over the image...

It might not be enough as a credit but w/e, it's just an example.

Mother f*cker used the pictures i took months ago, sum bitch punk ass.

That is f*cking it, from now on i am going to paste my name all over the damn picture like its shown above, i am sick and tired of these sh*tty GTA YouTubers stealing stuff and not even crediting it.

That's why we should always watermark our names on images created by ourselves, so that way, greedy pathetic so called "GTA Youtubers" would stop stealing our information.

I wonder if the idiot used my forklift pic in one of his videos. I got his channel blocked, so i'm not going to find out.

From now on, we should just watermark everything that is found. The fact that we have to watermark our sh*t because YouTubes love to steal it without crediting anyone is f*cking ridiculous.

Man, TXDCut.ide is STILL leftover from GTA4. Really, it's from GTA San Andreas, and it's disturbing to see this STILL in the game's common.rpf. TXDCut.ide simply redirected the cutscene cars textures to the non-cutscene version cars, like the cutscene Greenwood uses the non-cs Greenwood's texture.

There is a bunch of audio that never made it to the final game, Horses are a completely new thing that comes from Red Dead Redemption and is rumored to be in Sharmoota's job. They would come in various colors, but the last traces of these are unused police scanner quotes. There is even audio for multiple vehicles from GTA IV that do not appear in the game as well as the Annihilator, which is only available in GTA Online and can be obtained in singleplayer only by Trainers and save editing, Also, The '30 second countdown race timer from GTA IV remains in the files for GTA V for whatever reason.

I think you're all overreacting.

Being honest, I watch some YouTubers' videos on beta content to check if they give credit to finders. I know MrBossFTW does give credit (except in the latest video where he didn't mention any names nor left a link in the description because he's pissed off at us at this point [see description].) in both the video and description. Other Youtubers do give credit too, but some don't.

I can understand the hate - I mean they make money (even though it's very little, it all will add up sooner or later) off our findings which is a bit vile, but at least they don't go claiming they found it or give no credit whatsoever and it's not as bad as the scum who actually claim they were the ones to find it and proceed to make money off it. Still, we're all posting this in public which means ANYONE can see it and use it. There is no copyright on findings since it's all Rockstar's property at the end of the day. Which means anyone can make a video on it. When I found the last 5 phone (and text, also 3 brand-new current-gen) cheats in GTAV, I didn't go bitching about GTASeriesVideos making a video (and money) on cheats without giving me credit for total of 7 cheats I found - they could have at least showed some recognition to everyone who actually bothered to find this stuff and help them make money but at the end of the day it's all Rockstar's property and it's not like they claimed they found it. Watermarks won't do sh*t since you're getting credit one way or the other at the end of the day and it just gives the YouTubers an incentive to look for this stuff themselves and give them a reason to claim the finding.

I remember this thread being like all the other threads. GTA fans finding and sharing cut content with each other and having fun while they were at it. Now this has turned into a massive YouTuber bitchfest (and not only that. It seems we're beginning to bitch at each other and newbies that are just trying to help) and the thread's purpose has skewed off from finding cut content to defending findings from YouTubers. I won't defend YouTubers, but I won't hate them either unless they give me a reason to do so. If you hate YouTubers, that's fine, I won't stop you, but that negative attitude is seriously bringing this thread down.

I'd like to jump in on this too.

I want to work with you guys as best as I can. As WildBrick stated whenever I cover content from this thread in my videos, credit is provided in the description as well as in the video when I talked about the content itself. However, many times I'll upload a video and come here to see a very negative response to me covering & as stated by many on here "stealing" content.

I agree with Wildbrick that this is a public thread where the information is posted and I could provide no credit or mention of names like many other YouTubers.

Is there anything else you'd like me to do in the videos I make?

Thanks guys!

Sonny_Black

All these youtube guys and I mean the f*ckers with their clickbait who speak for nothing apart make you bleed your f*cking ears off... (which for me its only a bunch of wankers and cocksuckers) were just non-existent. Ahh those old youtube days on GTA 4 and GTA San Andreas... anyway I guess thats just the new generation of people but this is still f*cked. (f*cked_them_btw_)

All I get from this is "I want to continue making money from the stuff posted here, so how can we make things nicer?"

If you stopped making videos with obscenely click-bait titles and wild theories/extrapolation, you might be more able to maintain a civil relationship here. As it stands, you fool kids into watching your videos, then bombard them with uncertainties, repeating the process for days on end. I don't think you do anything positive, and I think what you do is part of the reason why YouTube is becoming awful.

This is not a personal attack. You're probably an alright guy, but I'd hazard a guess that the reasons above are why people don't like you using their sh*t. I think you'd stand a better chance by discussing things personally with the user, perhaps they'd have other stuff you could use to build a better picture in your videos (not just one single piece of information being twisted and contorted to fit all kinds of rhetoric).

The fact that you still posted a video about the joke-leak the staff here came up with, despite knowing it was bullsh*t, says all I need to know regarding your work ethic. Legitimacy takes a back seat for views.

I had to unsubscribe because all the click-bait stuff was pissing me off. I still watch his videos on occasion, but not that much. I know DatSaintsFan does it on occasion, but not nearly as much.
