Wow! Where did you hear that from? Imma keep it 1000 with you, originally there was gonna be a different story, with Lamar being deeper involved. However, I caught a case in real life that had me "tied up" for a few months and Rockstar had to move on, so the story became the one you see on GTA V. However, I am EXTREMELY thankful to Rockstar games for sticking with me through such a rough time and allowing me to continue my role as Lamar once I was available to work.

 

Going through this thread because this sh*t is so interesting, and I know this is from months ago, but holy sh*t. I really want to know more about what the original story was, and what the original "ending(s)" was/were.

Not beta, but here's Eddie Toh (model added in heist update) in his pilot outfit from The Fleeca Job.

 

 

 

Willy has glasses, I think headband is unused too.

 

 

 

The antagonist from Meltdown not only has a model left over, but also different outfits to go with it.

 

 

 

Chip also has a model from Meltdown left over.

 

 

 

Gianni has glasses.

 

 

 

Prologue driver has a "u_m_y_proldriver_01" model, even though there already is a cs_ model. This one features two bullet holes, though!

 

 

The ig_screen_writer model is from the mission Reuniting The Family, it's the woman with the laptop that Michael hits Fabian or whatever his name is with.

He was from Repossession in the opening cut scene, I think. Same facial model for the dudes that collect the stuff during heist prep missions too IIRC.

Hopefully the story dlc will release some of these cut features etc. Like why wouldn't include popular activities such as vigilante, basketball or pool?

Or better yet, include the cut songs on all stations, i would love to jam out to Crowded House, Ram Jam and Golden Earring while completing new missions and side activities.

That may very well be the case.

In The GTA V Beta Hunt Thread, Vadim M, and some other members mentioned that there were more files in the PC version of GTA V regarding "The Sharmoota Job" Heist.

Rockstar should be smart when dealing with this DLC. We know online is more popular than SP so include something in the story DLC that would get both parties to buy it like the casino, jet pack or the rumoured Clifford city. I think there's going to be a catch regarding the casino when it comes out. Story DLC is very much alive!

After watching the video, I believe that the cut missions would have been a great addition to the game, specifically with Franklin's character development.

 

I believe these missions may have taken place somewhere in Vinewood Hills, perhaps close to Franklin's second Safehouse.

In the x64e.rpf you can find an extra interior for the Schafter which is the same interior only brown. I cant recall any other cars using one like it.

It's not brown, it's tan. It's used in the Super Diamond and the Carbonizzare.
