You think that's bad, look at the folks who've been waiting for the casinos and pink slips to be added!

This! Haha, I honestly don't see bahama mammas or the casino being opened any time soon, Rockstar said they don't plan on releasing any more heists for online at the present time (may change in the future though) so I'd guess that if it's going to be robbable, it'll be single player lol

OT: Martin Madrazo's ranch has a full interior (some things you can walk straight through though) probably leftovers from the cut heist 'The Sharmoota Job' and also his mansion also has an interior (even upstairs) but again, is unsolid and has invisible walls (I apologise if anyone has already mentioned this)

The Hill Valley Church may have had a different layout in the beta too, I need someone to verify that it's the same place though, I have checked on PC, there's more grass and trees in the way on PC though so my guess is it's from the last gen consoles

Microsoft Word

Just giving you guys a heads up, especially FunMW2 and all the others who are willing to contribute to dig into the files into the PS4 version. I know you guys are like "The PS4 version? Are you high? No one has access to the files you dumb***." Well guess what? I got the .pkg links to the whole game from PSN. I'll share them soon, also I'm waiting on a few PS4 .pkg extractors to be developed and released.

HERE:ip7Smog.png?1

Each .pkg file is split into 4.0GB segments, meaning there are 10 of them which adds up to the 40GB total. All I'm thinking of is "Sony are still using FAT32".

P.S: I know I've cancelled the downloads, but I ain't leaving my PC on overnight because I can't stand the flashing lights when I try to sleep.

Sooooo what files are you aiming to get?

I don't think the PS4 files are gonna be THAT different from ones found in PC.

They definitely will be different to the ones found on the PC, they probably won't contain any 'x64x.rpf' files since the PS4 uses x86 architecture. Still, we have no idea what they contain. The file structure could be like the PS3 version of GTAV, or that R* went the old way and used .img files. We could still find cut content before they released the NG version, perhaps Beta Interiors or Textures.

Great work Playstation 4 !

However the RPF key is changed and in order to get it then you will have to decrypt the eboot.

Downloading all of those PKG files without having the RPF key will be useless.

Great work Playstation 4 !

Thank you sir.

However the RPF key is changed and in order to get it then you will have to decrypt the eboot.

I just downloaded an update (not sure which update it was).pkg, I found a tool that extracts a few contents of the .pkg online somewhere. Only files that were extracted were a few .bin files that seemed completely useless. The tool was programmed to write these files. Here is a pic:

EdCaOXS.png?1

As you can see, the Playstation 4 no longer uses an 'eboot.bin' as an executable. Now they use a 'param.sfo' to execute applications, these 'param.sfo' were also used for Save Games on the Playstation 3 (EDIT: They still in fact use eboot.bin). I may be incorrect on this one, as not exactly everything was extracted. But as of now, it seems like we'd have to decrypt the 'param.sfo' file. There's no tool to decrypt these at the moment, also if we were to decrypt these .rpf's (they weren't extracted) we'd need GooD-NTS to add a PS4 platform to OpenIV. Maybe we could get him to decrypt it, I'll create a separate thread for this as this is getting slightly off-topic.

Downloading all of those PKG files without having the RPF key will be useless.

The .pkg's have their own encryption, successfully extracting them without having to decrypt the .rpf's/param.sfo is possible.

EDIT: New thread opened, http://gtaforums.com/topic/826919-gtav-ps4-file-structure-and-contents/

But why? It's the same game build as on PC.

The PS4 version is an earlier version than the PC version, the PC version contains more files than PS4 so it is a different and newer build. I wouldn't argue about them being completely different, but they do share differences.

Who knows the ps4 version contains meta files ( popgroups) instead of ymt files...

This might be useful for PC if its true.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

The PS4 version will probably have unused Textures or Last gen leftovers, thats what I'm assuming anyway.

Nope. The rusty forklift in MP3 is much less modern looking.

Not yet, I'm still working around the extraction tools. If you're going to look for updates, check out my thread on my profile.

Ever since the beginning, the programmable assault rifle confused me. I mean, what can you program a gun to do?
