They really gotta add something to avoid ramming in normal races in Gta Online it really annoys the f*** out of me. Whats would be a good solution to this problem? Racing just isnt fun anymore this way :/

There is no solution. Not a workable one anyway. Either see it as a challenge, ram them back or only race with like-minded people.

OP, there is no solution, race with randoms, assume a wreak, it's caused by many factors, predominantly, in my opinion, novice driving skills. However, the slip stream contributes significantly to the phenomenon, adding to the difficulty bad drivers face in regards to control.

Light at the end of the tunnel is impromptu races which have no slip and no ketchup.

It's just always going to happen so you have to learn to live with it like I have. Racing is still fun though.

Ha ha. Its never going to stop. Even "legit" racers do it after they figure they can't win. You either get out to a huge early lead or stsy back and wait for the riff raff to be done. I can't tell you how many times I've been running 1st/2nd in a decent race for the person who I thought was running legit to change Nd try to spin me out last minute

I tried being nice for a long time in random racing, but i just figured there was no point. Ram them all and use slip stream to your advantage. Another tip is choosing a adder for supercars, it makes ramming and doing whacky stuff legit. Its a dog eat dog game, but it would be nice to have an option to race cleaner.

Dude, it's called winning. Once there's a competition, trust no one.

That's true. I like to think that I am a very clean racer and I wont hit people on purpose at all unless they do it to me everytime they are near me. However I will say the only time that I will ram is if it close to the finish line as I want to win even if I have to be unfair to do so.

There are plenty of clean racing crews out there, that's your solution, as it is even when playing "standard" races this is still GTA, it's not supposed to be filled with hugs and kisses. Ramming can be annoying sure but it's like having Traffic on while racing, sure it sucks when some random NPC pulls some crazy maneuver when I'm winning and it costs me the race, but whenever I race with Traffic off I'm left feeling bored throughout the entire race. It doesn't always go your way, but having ramming in the race makes it more challenging and (for me) more interesting and entertaining. If you want clean racing without any GTA components, you probably shouldn't be playing GTA.

And ignore the clowns on here who revel in their ramming. They'll be the ones who ram you, f*ck it up, crash and leave.

Ghosting. Other racing games do it. Should be an option in the lobby.

Not really a solution for me. Although obviously plenty do like to play that way. I don't see the point. You might as well race alone and just compare times on a leader board.

This...^

I bet the majority of ramming in races is due to connection and not actually dirty drivers. People just can't tell the difference.

As far as public games go, I expect it to be dirty.

Its the snake in the grasses racers that annoy me. The ones that drive clean the entire race and then got a big pit near the end.

the only solution is drive better! ... most people don't see a point in not crashing they follow the 'win at any cost' mindset so they crash into people especially since they don't have to pay to repair there vehicle.

i don't think there should be a game mechanic that prevents it that would remove the challenge of races . sometimes its the only way you can get pass someone is force them to spin out. personally i do my best not to crash into anyone but it doesn't stop them from crashing into me ^.^ its annoying but it also makes it challenging.
