That's what I used to do, but I got sick of getting freezes every 2 or 3 times I send a report. No thanks, feels like getting punished for reporting DNS kids.

 

Plus wtf is that 10-15 minute CD on reporting? So if I saw more than 1 iso modders ruining a session together or griefing me specifically, then I need to endure another 10-15 minutes to report them at least? WTF is that sh*t??!?

 

 

I believe the 15min cool down is so people don't abuse it. There are youtube vids of modders bypassing this, and sending random people to BS lobbies.

 

The problem with all these uber high level cheats is that you don't know which one is from DNS changing, and actual ISO modding. I thought Rockstar banned, or sent all the DNS kiddies to the cheater pool during the last maintenance period, but who knows. I report anyone over 400 simply because they're the usually the biggest a-holes in the lobby.

I got a rank 102 character and another 90 something, both from round launch time and both legit.

 

If you've got the free time and dedication, rank 400+ is probably possible.

Guess it just means eating all your meals in front of the console, peeing into a bottle, having another player cover the night shifts and no rl social life.

Might be a small price to pay for some, after all "rank iz everyting! lolz"

My over/under for cheated ranks is 600. A reset won't happen but if it did goodbye gtao. Those who cheated ranks deserve bans, period, and will get there's soon enough

Just so people know, a level 400 isn't necessarily a cheater. Someone playing the game 6-8 per day on average could easily be around level 500-600 by now. I'm level 122 and only play an average of about an hour a day.

 

 

i could see it. my LVL 262 w/ 900+ hrs of gameplay has a lot of idle time or just BSing around time. i have gone a few days between ranking up if i'm just hanging around with friends in free roam. i don't troll or kill people at will, quite the contrary. i don't attack anyone in free roam unless they A. have a bounty or B. are trying to go after the same crate or simeon car i'm after. there have been times where i'll hang out in my apartment while i eat dinner or something just because i don't feel like leaving the game and coming back in. i think my record for longest session is over 12 hrs. if i had spent a higher percentage of those 900 hrs grinding missions i'm sure i could easily be in the 300s-400s by now.

i think a rank reset will be next on R*'s list but so far they've only removed the cash and put in place new anti-cheat measures

They better have a way to see who is legit and who isn't. I hve a legit 262 and will be very pissed if i get reset.

 

If rank reset happens it will be like the cash reset. Everybody will have to pay for the deeds of those who cheated.

Im assuming it would cap past a certain level. Key word here being assume.

It must have a cap, because from what I read, I thought it was your crew leader that decided how the cut was laid out.

 

If the crew leader took most of the cut and didn't share it rationally, then over time the crew would remove them as their leader.

I highly doubt rank affects the heist payout because if the player with level 700 gets nearly all of the loot compared to players at ranks 30–120 in the same heist, then that's f*cked up.

High rank is pretty unnecessary anyway, it's only good for getting the guns and car mods, it doesn't make you a better player, I went on a 12 killstreak a couple of days ago in a regular deathmatch, I was Rank 29, they were all above 100. All I used was my AK. Finished with 19 kills, 4 deaths. I went on to win, (time run out) the person who finished second was around rank 150. He had 8 kills, 12 deaths.

 

It's shocking how bad some players are, despite the high rank.
