Because, you know, people haven't been playing GTA IV the entire time that it has been out. Or GTA III. Or San Andreas. Or Vice CIty. People still play those games. I have no doubt that this game will be played long after a year has passed. That said, you might mean that people who don't like to actually earn their money won't want to play for very long.
